- In a large salad bowl blend together chicken, celery, onions, salt, lemon juice, and grapes. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
- Just prior to serving add mayonnaise, oranges, and almonds, tossing gently to avoid breaking the oranges.
- Serve on leaves of Romaine or Boston lettuce or scoop generously into a avocado half.
- Serves 4 large portions or 8 smaller ones.

From Mom's friend Sylvia. It actually calls for two pounds of beef (thus, two by four), but Sylvia only uses one, and I found it sufficient. I put this in the crockpot on warm on a busy afternoon, and had dinner waiting for me. I served it with a salad and tortillas. This is greater than the sum of its parts; I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. DH told me "this is the best thing to ever come out of that crockpot!"

- In a small bowl, whisk together vegetable oil, rice vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Cover and store in fridge until before serving.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, cabbage and sunflower seeds; set aside. In a pan over medium heat, warm up vegetable oil. Add Top Ramen noodles (without flavor packets) and cook until slightly brown. Add slivered almonds to the ramen and continue stirring over heat until golden brown. Once cool, add ramen mixture to the chicken/cabbage mixture and stir to combine.
- Add dressing that you set aside and toss to coat before serving to avoid the noodles getting soggy.

Cover and chill the chicken for at least 30 minutes or more.
- Remove the container with chicken from your refrigerator, let it rest on your counter for at least 15 to 20 minutes before you start to grill them.
- On a large serving platter, make a layer of crisp cold red lettuce. Scatter cherry tomatoes on top and season with some salt, black pepper, and a little garlic powder. Then drizzle with extra virgin olive oil over the entire platter. Set it aside.
- Now you are ready to grill the chicken. In a large non-stick skillet, heat on high heat. Add the chicken to the skillet, and including all the marinade. Grill the chicken for a few minutes, about 3 minutes.
