GARDEN VEGETABLE TURKEY MEATLOAF

Garden Vegetable Turkey Meatloaf image

The oatmeal and chili sauce were inspired by another recipe I found on RecipeZaar, but I added an assortment of vegetables to add color, texture, flavor, and nutrition. I like to use the Uncle Sam oatmeal because it contains flax seeds and wheat flakes along with the oats, but you can use any rolled oats or instant plain oatmeal you have on hand.

TURKEY VEGGIE MEATLOAF

I experimented a bit with a meatloaf recipe. I had it for lunch and it was pretty darned good. Pam says "Although I think I'd make a slight adjustment for next time as noted below". I found this recipe on Pam Tremble's website. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting this for safe keeping.

  • Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until done. ("Pam says I love mine with ketchup").
