Triple Cheese Hot Dog Mac Food

MACARONI, CHEESE AND HOT DOGS

Steps:

• Fill a medium sized pot with hot water about half way.
• Put the water on the stove at high heat.
• Add box of Kraft macaroni and cheese dinner.
• Cut up the hod dogs into 1/4 pieces and drop in the water.
• Bring everything to a boil.
• Once the water boils, reduce the heat and continue to cook until the macaroni is tender.
• Drain water.
• Place pot back on the stove on very low heat.
• Add margarine and milk.
• Add slices of cheese.
• Stir until cheese melts.
• After cheese melts, add cheese sauce packet that comes with the Kraft Macaroni and Cheese dinner.
• Stir until everything is well mixed.
• Serve and enjoy.

MACARONI AND CHEESE HOT DOG SKILLET

Steps:

• Cook hot dogs in medium skillet on medium heat 2 to 3 minutes or until lightly browned.
• Stir in water, milk and Macaroni. Bring to boil; cover.
• Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 to 7 minutes or until Macaroni is tender.
• Add Cheese Sauce Mix and butter; cook and stir until heated through.

FRIED MAC-N-CHEESE-N-HOT DOG BALLS

Steps:

• Mix together bread crumbs, salt, and pepper. Set aside in a shallow dish.
• Shape macaroni and cheese into 8 balls with a piece of hot dog in the center. Roll in the bread crumb mixture coating well.
• Fry in a pan with 350 degree oil until golden brown. Drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
• Serve with every kids best friend -- Ketchup!
• Note: I've also made this before with a piece of Broccoli in the middle, to sneak in something healthy.

HOMEMADE MAC & CHEESE WITH HOT DOGS

Steps:

• Cook the macaroni according to the package directions for al dente. In a separate saucepan, melt the butter. Add the flour to the butter and cook for 1-2 mins then start slowly adding warm milk. Whisk until smooth and thickened (4 mins or so). Add wine, mustard, salt and pepper. Stir in cheese until melted and smooth. Stir in the sliced hot dogs and cooked macaroni.
• Grease a 9x13 baking dish and fill with mac and cheese. Cover the top with breadcrumb topping. Bake uncovered in 375 degree oven for 20-30mins until golden brown and crispy on top.

EASY MAC N CHEESE WITH HOT DOGS

Steps:

• Prepare macaroni and cheese as directed.
• While boiling macaroni, put hot dogs on plate, pierce and microwave for about one minute or until cooked through. Then cut into small slices.
• Add hot dogs to prepared macaroni mixture and stir.
• Have each person top with ketchup and mustard according to their liking.

MAC AND CHEESE PANCAKES (WITH OPTIONAL HOT DOG)

Steps:

• Blend together the hand-grated and pre-grated Cheddars in a bowl. Set aside.
• Preheat griddle to medium heat. Ladle 4 pancakes on the griddle at a time; do not overcrowd. Add 1/4 cup macaroni to each pancake, followed by 1/2 hot dog per pancake, if using, followed by 1/3 cup Cheddar per pancake. When you notice the edges bubbling vigorously, spray the entire pancake and griddle with nonstick spray, then flip the pancakes. Press down on the pancakes with a great deal of force (think panini style).
• Cook until the cheese is lightly browned, about 3 minutes. Remove from the griddle, sprinkle with scallions and serve with warm Habanero Syrup. Repeat to make 4 more.
• Mix flour, baking soda, salt, eggs and buttermilk in a bowl until just combined; your batter should look lightly lumpy but combined. Set aside for at least 2 hours.
• Slice habanero in half and place in a saucepan with maple syrup. Bring up to a full boil and turn off right away to avoid boil-over. Let stand for 3 hours. Strain out pepper.

TRIPLE-CHEESE MACARONI

Steps:

• Cook macaroni according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, butter, mustard, seasoned salt and pepper until combined. Stir in the process cheese and 1-1/2 cups of each cheddar cheese.
• Drain macaroni; stir into cheese mixture. Pour into a greased 3-qt. baking dish. Top with remaining cheeses. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is melted and edges are bubbly.
