Jun 10, 2014 Are warped rotors a common problem? Truck only has 32,000km and there's a noticeable pulsation from the front rotors. Dealer says they'll machine them once under warranty. Oct 17, 2023 My biggest problem to date has been the brakes shudder if they get hot going down long mountain passes. I've learned that manually downshifting to avoid moderate/heavy braking solves that problem, but it's still concerning. From tundras.com
Oct 8, 2023 Uneven pad transfer can also cause the symptoms of a warped rotor. Pad imprinting can cause a problem if you take brand new rotors, get them hot, and then come to a complete stop before the rotors cool. I like Akebono … From toyotanation.com
