Steps:

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, stir together the butter and brown sugar. Remove from heat when the butter has melted.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, whip together the butter mixture, sour cream and vanilla. Serve warm, or allow the dip to chill and thicken in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon maple syrup

Steps:

  • Very important that the cream cheese is at room temperature, or the dip will be lumpy.
  • Combine all ingredients and mix with a mixer. The mixer is important, too, or it will be lumpy.
