2 cups raw cashews
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons coconut oil

Steps:

  • Process cashews and salt in a food processor until desired consistency, about 5-7 minutes, scraping down sides as needed. Add coconut oil and process another 30 seconds. Store in an airtight container in refrigerator.

250 grams cashews,raw
25 grams rice bran oil or coconut oil
5 grams Rice malt syrup
1/2 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Cashew ButterNote - I have left the Measuring Cup in the bowl throughout this recipe 1. Measure 250g cashew nuts into your TM bowl. 2. Roast the cashews by using Varoma, Reverse "Counter-clockwise operation" speed 1, for 15 minutes (or you can roast them in your oven or microwave) 3. Chop cashews for 4-12 seconds on speed 6 (until you hear the sound change to indicate that the cashews have been chopped up finely) 4. Add oil, salt and syrup. 5. Mix on speed 6 for 1 minute then stop to scrape down the sides 6. Mix for a further 2 minutes on speed 6 stopping to scrape down the sides every 30 seconds so you can check the consistency of the mixture (stop if it reaches your desired consistency by this point). 7. Have a little taste to check you are happy with the sweetness and the saltyness. If it is still a little too dry you can add some extra oil in here at this point too. 8. Mix it for a further minute or two, scraping down the sides every 30 secs to a minute on speed 6 until it reaches the consistency you desire.

180 g water
120 g milk, 2%
25 g sugar
2 teaspoons instant yeast
1 teaspoon salt
30 g butter
50 g olive oil
1 egg
430 g all-purpose flour
200 g whole wheat flour

Steps:

  • Add the milk and water to the TM bowl. Mix at 4 minutes/speed soft/ 50 degrees. Add the sugar mix 3 seconds/speed 7. Add the yeast, salt , butter, olive oil flour and egg to the TM bowl mix 10 seconds/speed 7.
  • Set dial to Closed Lid position Knead for 3 minutes/interval speed.
  • Remove dough and let rise for 30-60 minutes, or until doubled.
  • After dough has risen, divide in 2 and place in loaf pans, or further divide each half and make braided loaves.
  • Bake in a hot oven 400 F for about 30 minutes.
