BEST PALEO BURGERS {WITH BUNS & BURGER SAUCE!}
These classic paleo burgers taste just like the real deal but are made with better-for-you ingredients! Juicy grass-fed beef patties, grain free buns, a dairy and soy free burger sauce and thick cut bacon make these the best loaded paleo burgers you'll try.

- Have the burger buns baked, cooled and sliced before beginning.*
- Cook the bacon to preference first and set aside. To make the sauce, whisk together all ingredients in a medium bowl until well combined. Adjust any seasonings to taste and set aside.
- Shape your burgers. It's important not to overwork the meat while shaping so the burgers stay juicy! I don't like adding much more than sea salt and pepper to my burgers - a little minced garlic is an optional add-in. Shape 5 patties (1/4 lb each) so they're about 1/4-1/2" thicker around the perimeter than the inside - this will help prevent the burgers from puffing up in the middle. Mine were about 3/4" on the outside. Sprinkle with sea salt and black pepper as you shape them.
- The burgers can be grilled or pan-fried. Preheat your grill to high heat or skillet (or grill pan) to high heat and brush with oil. Cook for a total of 5 minutes for medium rare and 6-7 minutes for medium. The total time will depend on the exact thickness of your patties and the heat of your stovetop or grill. Use a meat thermometer to be more exact about the timing for your desired doneness.
- Time to layer your burgers! Start off with a slather of sauce on the bottom bun, followed by lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, bacon, the burger patty, and more sauce. Feel free to layer the burgers however you like, but I recommend using the sauce on both the top and bottom buns.
- Serve the burgers right away and enjoy!
THE PERFECT PALEO BURGER WITH SEASONING RECIPE

- Clean, oil, and preheat your BBQ.
- Combine the beef, garlic, and dijon in a bowl and mix well. Separate beef mixture into four equal portions.
- Gently shape into desired thickness (I make mine about 1").
- Use your thumb to make an indent in the middle of each burger to prevent them from shrinking while cooking.
- Just before cooking, generously season the top of each burger and place it seasoned-side down on the grill.
- Sear on high heat for 1 minute then reduce heat to medium. Cook 5-7 minutes more.
- Just before you flip, season the other side. Sear on high for 1 minute. Reduce to medium and cook 5-7 minutes more.
- Remove from grill and let sit for 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute throughout the burger.
- Place in my grain-free burger buns and add desired toppings.
PERFECT HAMBURGER
This hamburger seasoning makes the tastiest, juiciest burgers ever! We used 91% lean because the little bit of extra fat kept these patties moist and delicious. Also, the dry seasoning mixture will make more than you need but that leaves more for next time!

- In an airtight container or plastic bag, mix together salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, ground mustard, smoked paprika, and thyme.
- Shake until well mixed.
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce and approximately 2 tablespoons of the seasoning mixture.
- Make into patties and grill or pan fry.
- Enjoy with your favorite toppings!
