THE PERFECT MARGARITA

The Perfect Margarita image

Mastering the margarita requires a certain amount of practice, but once you dial-in your perfect ratio, it's a really easy cocktail to replicate. The classic recipe is 3 parts tequila, 2 parts triple sec, and 1 part freshly squeezed lime juice, and you should probably start off pretty close to that, but my personal favorite proportions are 4-3-2.

3 tablespoons superfine sugar

WORLD'S BEST MARGARITAS

World's Best Margaritas image

A perfect, goof-proof margarita. Use your limeade can as your measuring cup. It's so much easier, less messy, and the recipe can then be adjusted if you buy a different size than I have listed.

Provided by Lightly Toasted

Categories     Beverages

Time 5m

Yield 10-16 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 5

12 ounces frozen limeade concentrate (1 can)
12 ounces tequila (1 can)
4 ounces triple sec (1/3 of a can)
36 ounces water (3 cans)
2 sliced limes

Steps:

  • For Margaritas on the Rocks: Combine all ingredients together in a large pitcher, and stir well.
  • Or for frozen: omit limes, combine in a large plastic container and freeze.
  • These make the perfect slushy margarita.
  • Just let it sit out for a few minutes before serving, and then scoop into glasses with an ice cream scoop.
