EASY GARLIC SPAGHETTI
This recipe is so easy and quick to make! We eat it as a main meal, but it could also be a delicious side. You can also add fresh chopped parsley before serving. I use the pre-minced garlic that comes in a jar occasionally to save time. My family loves this recipe. I love it because it's inexpensive and quick to make! You can easily adjust this recipe to make larger serving size for a bigger family.

Steps:
- In a small saucepan, cook the garlic in the olive oil for 30 minutes on low heat. Stir occasionally to keep the garlic from drying out. In a medium saucepan, add the butter and tomatoes, and stir until well blended and the butter is melted. Stir in the garlic oil and season with salt and pepper. Allow the flavors to meld for 10 minutes. Toss with the spaghetti and serve garnished with basil and Parmesan.
THE ONE AND ONLY GARLIC SPAGHETTI
Very bold. If you are not a garlic lover, don't try this recipe. This is an adaptation of Spaghetti a la Carbanora. The garlic and egg are both raw, but don't worry, the butter melts, the egg cooks ever so slightly, the cheese melts and an indescribably heavenly amalgamation takes place. Steps:
- Boil spaghetti in a pot of boiling water; (don't over cook).
- While spaghetti cooks, prepare sauce (this is a thick paste that you toss over the cooked spaghetti).
- Place the egg garlic, butter, grated Parmesan cheese and dried sweet basil in a blender or food processor and blend together until smooth and well blended.
- (You can do this by hand if the garlic is pressed).
- When spaghetti is cooked and drained, (and hot) place it in a large bowl and add the garlic-cheese paste and chopped parsley and ground black pepper.
- Toss well.
- Place on servining plater (I warm my plates) and pass the red pepper flakes, bacon bits and more Parmesan and black pepper around for each to add.
- You can vary this recipe by adding sauteed onions and mushrooms, stir-fried green peppers or added cream or sauteed shrimp.
- Enjoy, and you will know you added enough garlic if you wake up the next morning tasting it on your breath.

JO MAMA'S WORLD FAMOUS SPAGHETTI
My kids will give up a steak dinner for this spaghetti. It is a recipe I have been perfecting for years and it is so good (if I may humbly say) that my kids are disappointed when they eat spaghetti anywhere else but home! In fact they tell me I should open a restaurant and serve only this spaghetti and garlic bread. In response to requests, I have posted the recipe for Recipe #28559 that uses approximately 1/2 of the sauce from this recipe. Have spaghetti one night and lasagna later! Thanks to all of you who have tried my recipe and have written a review. I read and appreciate every one of them! Chef Note: After I posted this recipe I remembered a funny incident--my dear husband usually has a nice bottle of wine handy so when I make a batch of spaghetti I just help myself to a splash of it. On one occasion, there wasn't a bottle opened, but there was a bottle sitting on the counter so I got out the corkscrew and helped myself. For some reason, the spaghetti that night was the best ever. My husband asked what wine I put in it and I showed him the bottle. He nearly fell off the chair. I had opened a rather expensive bottle he had bought to give his boss. Goes to show you--don't use a wine for cooking you wouldn't drink. You get the best results from a good wine!

Steps:
- In large, heavy stockpot, brown Italian sausage, breaking up as you stir.
- Add onions and continue to cook, stirring occasionally until onions are softened.
- Add garlic, tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce and water.
- Add basil, parsley, brown sugar, salt, crushed red pepper, and black pepper.
- Stir well and barely bring to a boil.
- Stir in red wine.
- Simmer on low, stirring frequently for at least an hour. A longer simmer makes for a better sauce, just be careful not to let it burn!
- Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
- Spoon sauce over drained spaghetti noodles and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
GARLIC SPAGHETTI
When Gramma passed away, my mom was given the job to make this garlic spaghetti for every family get together. It's so easy and cheap to make I decided I'd give it a try and it's awesome. The bowl will be empty before you know it!! If you love garlic and pasta like I do, you'll love this. It's a very light flavored pasta.

Steps:
- Combine the spices. While your noodles are cooking start warming a little of the olive oil and the garlic on low heat until the garlic has cooked (don't over cook or burn the garlic) and the flavors are released. Add a little butter and a little of the spices and let simmer on low for about a minute while stirring. Keep repeating the steps until everything has been added. The slower you add and the longer you let simmer the better the flavor.
- Once the noodles are done drain and toss together. We keep it in a crock pot to keep it warm or to take to work for pot luck days!
- I'm sure you can add any other spices you like or add more garlic. Serving size depends on if you are using this as a side dish as we do.
