2 cloves garlic (, minced)
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
15 oz can green beans (, drained)
10.75 oz can condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups frozen tater tots
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375F.
  • Lightly grease an 8 or 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Set aside.
  • Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.
  • Add the onions to the skillet and sauté for 4 to 5 minutes until translucent.
  • Add the garlic and cook, stirring frequently, for an additional minute.
  • Stir in Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer ground beef mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Top with cream of mushroom soup, followed by green beans, followed by the cheddar cheese. Make sure to season the green bean layer.
  • Finally, top with tater tots.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until tater tots are golden brown and cheese is melted.
  • Serve immediately.

3/4 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)
1 small onion, chopped
2 cans (10-1/2 ounces each) condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted
2 cups frozen cut green beans, thawed
1 can (15-1/4 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained
2 cups shredded Colby-Monterey Jack cheese, divided
1/2 cup 2% milk
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 package (32 ounces) frozen Tater Tots

Steps:

  • In a Dutch oven, cook the sausage, beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add the soup, beans, corn, 1 cup cheese, milk, garlic powder, seasoned salt and cayenne. Transfer to 2 greased 11x7-in. baking dishes. Top with Tater Tots; sprinkle with remaining cheese., Cover and freeze 1 casserole for up to 3 months. Butter, for the baking dish
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound spicy bulk breakfast sausage
1 medium onion, very finely diced
1 cup milk
1/2 cup half-and-half
1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
4 large eggs
1 red bell pepper, very finely diced
1 green bell pepper, very finely diced
2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
1 cup grated pepper jack cheese
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Line up the tater tots in a buttered 9-by-13-inch baking dish.
  • Add the olive oil to a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage and onion and cook, breaking the sausage up with a wooden spoon, until browned and cooked through, 8 to 10 minutes. Set aside to cool slightly, then sprinkle it over the tater tots.
  • In a large bowl, mix the milk, half-and-half, seasoned salt, cayenne, eggs, bell peppers, half of both cheeses and some salt and pepper. Pour over the tots and sausage mixture, then top with the rest of the cheese. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Steps:

  • Lightly butter a 13x9x2 Casserole baking dish.
  • Add a single layer of the tater tots. Set aside.
  • Place ground beef in skillet over Medium heat on stove top.
  • Add the diced onion.
  • Add garlic powder.
  • Add thyme.
  • Add oregano.
  • Add black pepper.
  • Stir well and let beef brown until completely done.

garlic salt to taste
1 c sour cream
⅓ c milk
1 ½-2 lbs frozen tater tots

  • In a small bowl, mix sour cream and milk together. Set aside.

This is my version of tater tot casserole. When I first moved out of my parent's house when I was in college, I didn't have a recipe. This is what I came up with. Now my husband and kids request it. (the black bits on top are the mushrooms from the cream of mushroom soup) :)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease an 8 or 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Set aside. Cook and stir ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until no longer pink and completely browned, 7 to 10 minutes.
  • Season with salt and black pepper. Cook, breaking apart ground beef with a wooden spoon, until it is cooked. If you're used to adding chopped onions to your tater tot casserole, go ahead and fry some up with the ground beef. Drain any fat.

1 small onion (diced)
1 tsp minced garlic
1 can cream of mushroom soup
½ cup sour cream
1 T Worcestershire sauce
1 cup frozen mixed veggies (I used a blend with green beans, carrots, peas, and corn)
8 oz cheddar cheese (freshly shredded, divided)
32 oz bag frozen tater tots

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  • In a large skillet cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until beef is cooked through. Drain if needed.
  • Add cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and Worcestershire sauce to the ground beef and mix thoroughly.
  • Stir in vegetables.
  • Place the beef and vegetable mixture in the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish. Top with 4 oz of freshly shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Place frozen tater tots on top of the cheese layer. Depending on the size/shape of your dish, you may have some leftover.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and top with the remaining 4 oz freshly shredded cheddar cheese. Bake for another 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
  • Serve warm.

1 ½ cups cheddar cheese (divided)
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup (low sodium, 10.5oz)
1 can condensed cream of broccoli cheddar soup (low sodium, 10.5oz)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 pounds tater tots

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef and onions until no pink remains. Drain, and place in a large mixing bowl.

½ teaspoon kosher salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 medium yellow onion (diced)
1 clove garlic (minced)
2 tablespoons all purpose flour
½ cup (120ml) whole milk
½ cup (120ml) beef broth (Note 1)
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup (150g) frozen mixed vegetables (corn, carrots, peas, green beans)
8 ounces (225g) cheddar cheese (shredded, Note 2)
32 ounce (900g) bag frozen tater tots

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C and grease a 9x13 inch casserole dish with cooking spray.
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef until it's no longer pink and cooked through. Drain fat. Remove onto a plate and set aside.
  • Add onion, and cook until softened (2-3 minutes), add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds - 1 minute.
  • Add flour, and cook it for 30 seconds then add the milk, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Whisk and cook on medium heat for 3 minutes or until the sauce has thickened.
  • Stir in the beef and frozen vegetables and remove from heat.
  • Layer the beef in the casserole dish, followed by the cheese, and arrange the tater tots on top in a single layer.
