- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
- Melt the butter in a large heavy pot over medium-high heat until hot. Add the carrots, celery and onions and season with 1 teaspoon salt and 3/4 teaspoon pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are golden, about 12 minutes. Stir in the flour, and then whisk in the broth and milk and bring to a boil, whisking. Boil until slightly thickened, about 3 minutes. Stir in the chicken. Transfer to a 2-quart baking dish.
- Pulse the tots in a food processor with the thyme until medium ground. Scatter over the top of the casserole and bake until the filling is bubbling and the topping is golden and crisp, 20 to 25 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

I made this one night, trying to use leftovers and do something easy. I took a cue from a beef casserole that I have had before. Instead of the chiles, you could use a 1/2 cup or so of salsa.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
- Combine chicken and beans in bowl.
- Spray 13x9 casserole dish with non-stick spray.
- Layer the casserole as follows: chicken/beans (on bottom), then chiles, followed by cheese, then tater tots.
- Cover with tin foil and bake for 35-40 minutes, until cooked through.
- Remove foil, turning oven up to 425°F.
- Using a fork gently flatten out the tater tots and return casserole to oven.
- Cook until tater tots get brown and crispy, about 5-10 minutes.

- In a large saucepan, combine the soup, milk and butter. Cook and stir over medium heat until heated through. Remove from the heat; stir in the chicken, peas and carrots, and 1 cup cheese., Transfer to 2 greased 8-in. square baking dishes. Top with Tater Tots. , Cover and freeze 1 casserole for up to 3 months. Bake the remaining casserole at 400° until bubbling, 25-30 minutes. - Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Prepare a 13x9-inch casserole dish with cooking spray.
- Spread 20 potato nuggets in the casserole dish.
- Bake in preheated oven until warmed through, about 10 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir beef and onion in the hot skillet until beef is completely browned, 5 to 7 minutes; drain and discard grease. Season beef mixture with 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce, steak seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper.

(From allrecipes.com, published By: MRS.G) My notes: I was looking for a way to use leftover taco beef I had, and this came out perfectly. Publishing as I found it, but I cooked the beef first, and used leftover peas and some broccoli I had on hand. Cooked for 40 minutes, and it came out perfectly. I topped it with shredded cheddar just before serving. My girls (3 yrs and 8 yrs loved it) AND (surprisingly) so did I!

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
- Spray a 9x13 glass baking dish with cooking spray.
- Spread hamburger into bottom of pan, covering entire bottom, gently tamping beef down.
