My delicious glaze uses only four ingredients. It's a simple way to ensure your ham will be the showstopper on your holiday table. -Nella Parker, Hersey, Michigan

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 fully cooked bone-in ham (6 to 8 pounds)
Whole cloves
3 cans (14 ounces each) jellied or whole-berry cranberry sauce
1-1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1-1/2 cups dry red wine or chicken broth
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325°. Place ham on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. If desired, score the surface of the ham, making diamond shapes 1/2 in. deep. Insert cloves into the surface. Loosely cover ham with foil; bake 1-1/2 hours. , In a large saucepan, combine cranberry sauce, brown sugar and wine. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes or until slightly thickened. Remove from the heat; whisk in mustard., Pour 2 cups cranberry mixture over ham. Bake 20-30 minutes longer or until a thermometer reads 140°. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with remaining sauce.

1 bone-in fully cooked spiral-sliced ham (8 pounds)
1 can (14 ounces) whole-berry cranberry sauce
1 package (12 ounces) fresh or frozen cranberries
1 jar (12 ounces) red currant jelly
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

Steps:

  • Place ham on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Cover and bake at 325° for 2-1/2 hours. , Meanwhile, for glaze, combine the remaining ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, until cranberries pop, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat; set aside. , Uncover ham; bake until a thermometer reads 140°, about 30 minutes longer, basting twice with 1-1/2 cups glaze. Serve remaining glaze with ham.

1-1/2 teaspoons canola oil
1/2 cup jellied cranberry sauce
1/2 cup undrained crushed pineapple
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves

Steps:

  • Cut each ham steak in half. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ham in oil in batches until browned and heated through, 3-5 minutes on each side. 1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup orange juice
1 cup bourbon
1-1/2 teaspoons ground cloves
7 to 9 pounds fully cooked bone-in ham

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, whisk the first 4 ingredients. Add ham; turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight, turning occasionally., Preheat oven to 325°. Remove ham from marinade and place on a rack in a roasting pan; reserve remaining marinade, placing it in the refrigerator until ready to baste., Using a sharp knife, score surface of ham with 1/4-in.-deep cuts in a diamond pattern. Bake, covered, 2 hours., Baste with about half the reserved marinade. Bake, uncovered, 1 to 1-1/2 hours, basting the ham twice more during the first half hour, until a thermometer reads 140°.

1 (16 ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1 -1 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
1 (5 lb) ham, boneless & fully cooked

Steps:

  • In a small bowl combine the cranberry sauce, syrup, vinegar, and mustard. Set aside 1 cup of mixture for sauce.
  • Line a shallow roasting pan with foil. Place ham on a rack in prepared pan. Cover and bake at 325 for 1 hour. Baste with some of the remaining cranberry mixture; bake 35-45 minutes longer or until a meat thermometer reads 140; basting with additional mixture every 10 minutes. Heat reserved sauce; serve with ham.

A tangy cranberry-pecan relish adds a festive touch to a honey-glazed spiral sliced ham.

1 Cook's® Bone-in Spiral Sliced Half Ham (about 9 pounds)
1/2 cup honey (cranberry honey preferred, if available)
1-1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 large Granny Smith apple, peeled, finely chopped (about 1-1/2 cups)
1 cup cranberry juice cocktail
1 package (6 ounces) sweetened dried cranberries (about 1-1/3 cups)
2 tablespoons Orange Marmalade
1/4 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

  • 1. Remove and discard glaze packet from ham or reserve for another use. Begin by preparing ham according to package directions.
  • 2. Make Honey Glaze: While baking, mix honey, mustard and lemon juice in small bowl until blended. Set aside until the last 30 minutes of baking time.
  • 3. Make Cranberry Relish: Combine apples and juice in medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add cranberries; simmer an additional 5 minutes, or until fruit is tender, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; stir in marmalade and pecans. Set aside until ready to eat. Or, if made in advance, cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
  • 4. Uncover ham and brush with the Honey Glaze for the last 30 minutes of the baking time.
  • 5. Let stand 10 minutes. Carve and serve with Cranberry Relish.

1 can (14 oz.) whole berry cranberry sauce
1/4 cup KRAFT Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing
1 Tbsp. zest and 3 Tbsp. juice from 1 orange

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 325ºF.
  • Place ham in shallow pan. Score ham; cover with foil. Bake 1-1/2 hours. Meanwhile, microwave remaining ingredients in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 30 to 45 sec. or until cranberry sauce is melted. Reserve 1-3/4 cups cranberry mixture.
  • Remove foil from ham. Bake, uncovered, 1 hour or until ham is heated through (140ºF), brushing with remaining cranberry mixture every 20 min.
  • Transfer ham to cutting board; cover loosely with foil. Let stand 15 min. Slice ham; serve with reserved cranberry mixture.

1 cup orange juice
1/3 cup steak sauce
2 tablespoons canola oil

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the cranberry sauce, orange juice, steak sauce, oil, mustard and brown sugar. Score the surface of the ham with shallow diagonal cuts, making diamond shapes., Place ham in a 2-gal. resealable bag. Add half of cranberry mixture; seal bag and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight, turning several times. Cover and refrigerate remaining cranberry mixture., Preheat oven to 325°. Drain and discard marinade from ham. Place ham on a rack in a foil-lined roasting pan; cover with foil. Bake for 1-3/4 hours., Place reserved cranberry mixture in a small saucepan; heat through.
