2 tablespoons cumin
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons canola oil
1 medium onion
1 tomatoes
1 green bell pepper
3 garlic cloves
1 (12 ounce) can vegetable stock (Swanson's is best)
1 (12 ounce) package Morningstar Farms Meal Starters Grillers recipe crumbles

Steps:

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add onions and peppers and cook until tender.
  • Add Minced Garlic and cook until fragrant.
  • Add Morning start crumbles.
  • Cook until thawed.
  • Add 1/2 of the tomato diced.
  • Add Vegetable Stock and Spices.
  • Bring to a boil then reduce heat.
  • Simmer till most of the liquid has been lost.
  • Let the spices get acquainted for 15 minutes.
  • Top with the sharpest cheddar you can get, sour cream, and the rest of the diced tomatoes.

1 (16 ounce) can tomato sauce
⅔ cup water
2 tablespoons white vinegar
1 tablespoon ground cumin
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon garlic salt
½ teaspoon chili powder
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon white sugar
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Steps:

  • Stir tomato sauce, water, vinegar, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, garlic salt, chili powder, paprika, sugar, and cayenne pepper together in a saucepan over low heat; cook at a simmer until slightly thickened, about 20 minutes. Cool sauce slightly before serving.

3 cups water
2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
2 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons cornstarch
2 teaspoons distilled white vinegar
1 tablespoon minced dried onion
2 tablespoons canned jalapeno slices

Steps:

  • Combine the tomato paste with the water in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Stir until smooth.
  • Add the cayenne pepper; chili powder, salt cornstarch, vinegar, and dried onion and stir.
  • Chop the jalapeno slices very fine.
  • You can use a food processor, but don't puree.
  • The best kind of jalapenos to use are those bottled for nachos or pizza.
  • Add them to the mixture.
  • Heat the mixture to boiling.
  • Continue to stir about 3 minutes and remove from heat.
  • Let the sauce stand until cool, and then put in a tightly sealed container and refrigerate.
  • This will last for 1 to 2 months.

3/8 teaspoon granulated garlic
1/4 teaspoon granulated onion
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon ground coriander
1/8 teaspoon ground cumin
1 pinch ground cloves
1 pinch smoked paprika (or chipotle chile powder)

Steps:

  • WHISK all ingredients together rigorously in a medium saucepan (1 cup cold water, 1/4 cup chili sauce, 2 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar, 1 tablespoon arrowroot or 1 tablespoon cornstarch, 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, 1/2 teaspoon Season-All salt, 3/8 teaspoon granulated garlic, 1/4 teaspoon granulated onion, 1/4 teaspoon white pepper, 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 1/8 teaspoon ground coriander, 1/8 teaspoon ground cumin, 1 pinch ground cloves, 1 pinch smoked paprika or chipotle chile powder).
  • BRING mixture to boil over high heat.

  • REMOVE from heat and cool (sauce will seem hotter while warm and the spice-heat subsides after cooled).
  • WHISK sauce occasionally as it cools.

  • REFRIGERATE any unused portion for up to 2 weeks.

1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1 -2 drop liquid smoke (measure into a spoon first)
