- For each seasoning blend, combine all ingredients together and mix well. Store in air tight container and stir before using.
- Optional: For Jerk and Italian Seasoning Blends, place ingredients in a small food processor and process until finely ground. Store in an air tight container.

SWEET SPICY CHEX MIX
Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F. Lightly coat a baking sheet with non-stick spray, line with parchment paper, then coat with baking spray once more. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the honey nut cereal, wheat cereal, pretzels, cashews, pecans, peanuts, and almonds.
- In another bowl, beat the egg white until foamy, then stir in the maple syrup, cinnamon, chipotle powder, chili powder, salt, cumin, and cayenne. Drizzle over the cereal and nut mixture, then toss to coat.
- Spread the mixture in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 1 hour, stirring once every 20 minutes. The mixture is done when dry to the touch. Remove from the oven, place the pan on a cooling rack, and let cool completely.

I got this blend from my SIL for Christmas along with the recipe and spiced pecans. The blend can be used in any recipe that calls for pumpkin pie or apple pie spice or even just cinnamon. Will post recipes to go along with this.

- Melt the butter and sugar in a large skillet over medium heat and add the salt. Add the almonds, cashews, peanuts, pecans, chili powder, cinnamon, cumin and cayenne. Cook until the sugar is melted and the nuts are fragrant, 5 to 6 minutes. Add the rosemary and toss. Immediately spread the nut mixture on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Cool completely, and then serve.
SWEET MEXICAN SPICE SEASONING MIX

- Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
- Combine wheat cereal squares, oat cereal, pretzels, crackers, sunflower seeds, and nuts in a large bowl. Set aside.
- Combine butter, honey, Worcestershire sauce, salt, cayenne pepper, chili powder, garlic powder, and onion powder in a small saucepan and over medium-low heat. Mix until butter is melted and spices are blended in smoothly. Pour seasoned butter over dry mixture and stir until well combined. Spread out onto a large baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Let cool completely.
- Mix in dried cherries and smoked beef stick pieces.

SWEET BAKING SPICE
This fragrant baking blend splits the difference between pumpkin pie spice and apple pie spice, adding a bit of white pepper for some gentle heat, and cardamom for its deep, bright perfume. - Place a small skillet over medium heat. Add the spices and toast, stirring, until fragrant, 2 to 4 minutes. Pour into a small bowl and set aside to cool.
- Using a spice grinder, clean coffee grinder, or mortar and pestle, grind the cooled spices until fine. If you like, you can strain the mix through a fine-mesh strainer to remove any coarse bits, but this is optional. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dark place for up to 1 year.

- Place Chex cereal, pretzels, Cheerios and peanuts in a large bowl.
- Melt the butter in a small microwave-safe bowl and stir in the hot sauce. Pour over the Chex mix and stir to evenly distribute.
- Pour the chex mix out onto the lined cookie tray and spread out to make an even layer.
- Sprinkle the cajun spice overtop of the Chex mix.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, until the Chex Mix is dry to the touch but before it starts to brown.
- Allow the Chex Mix to cool on the baking tray before packaging or serving.
