- Pre-heat oven at 250 F.
- In a bowl add all three types of chex cereal, mini pretzel twists, mini pretzel rods, mini bread sticks, bagel chips and nuts.
- In a microwave safe bowl melt butter. To melted butter add worcestshrire sauce, honey, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, cayenne pepper and chili powder. Whisk well.
- Pour the seasoning sauce over the dry snack mix.
- Using a spatula mix to coat all dry ingredients evenly.
- Transfer the chex snack mix contents onto a baking tray.
- Spread it into one even layer.
- Bake in preheated oven at 250 F for about 1 hour and 15 minutes or until everything turns crispy evenly.
- Remove snack mix from oven and let it cool completely.
- You can serve it straight away for snacking or keep it stored in air tight container for up-to 3 weeks.

SWEET SPICY CHEX MIX

- Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F. Lightly coat a baking sheet with non-stick spray, line with parchment paper, then coat with baking spray once more. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the honey nut cereal, wheat cereal, pretzels, cashews, pecans, peanuts, and almonds.
- In another bowl, beat the egg white until foamy, then stir in the maple syrup, cinnamon, chipotle powder, chili powder, salt, cumin, and cayenne. Drizzle over the cereal and nut mixture, then toss to coat.

- Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C). Lightly grease a large roasting pan.
- In a large bowl, mix crispy corn and rice cereal, slivered almonds and toasted, chopped pecans.

Steps:
- Combine corn and rice cereals, pretzels, and almonds together in large roasting pan or baking dish, set aside.
- Bring to boil while stirring in a medium saucepan the brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup. When mixture comes to boiling point stop stirring and let boil for an additional 5 minutes over medium heat.
- Remove from heat and stir in the baking soda. Pour immediately over cereal mixture. Stir gently to evenly coat cereal mixture.
- Bake for 15 minutes in 300 degree oven. Stir and bake for an additional 5 minutes. Remove from oven, stir in dried fruit, and spread mixture on buttered foil to cool. Break into bite size pieces and store in airtight container.

I make this recipe for my neighbors at Christmas time. It is really good but very addictive. I try diffrent combinations of cereals but this is my favorite. If you like something else better, substitute. Enjoy!!

After 2 minutes, remove from the heat and carefully add in the 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon vanilla (it may sputter), and optional 1/2 teaspoon coconut extract.
- COAT CEREAL: Pour the prepared sugar mixture over the cereal mixture on the pan and, using 2 wooden spoons or a spatula and a spoon, toss to evenly coat. Make sure all the cereal/nuts/coconut are well-coated in the sugar mixture. Let mixture stand at room temperature until hardened and firm, about 1-2 hours. The mix won't ever fully firm up; it is meant to be sticky and gooey.
