- Shuck corn (remove husks) and remove silk.
- Spray each ear with veg. spray.
- Place directly over heat on medium-hot grill.
- Rotate when dark spots appear and kernels deepen in color (usually about 2 to 3 minutes) until ears are uniformly cooked (usually 10 to 12 minutes). The ear will be speckled with char spots.
- Add salt and serve with favorite butter or flavored butter.

- Take each sheet of foil and butter with one tbs where corn will be touching.
- Roll it and pinch the ends.
- Put on grill with medium low flame and turn after five minutes to other side.
- Listen for crackling, whereas it might be burning!

Steps:
- Place one ear of corn at a time on a large sheet s of heavy duty aluminum foil
- Rub part of 1 tablespoon of butter over ear of corn
- Sprinkle evenly with some of the garlic powder, salt and pepper
- Place the remaining pat of butter on top of corn, and loosely wrap foil around corn so that there is space between the foil and corn, making sure ends are tightly closed. Repeat process with all ears of corn
- Arrange corn on top rack of gas grill, over medium heat, with the folded sides up. Close grill, and and cook for 5 minutes, then turn on the side and cook for another 5 minutes, then cook on the other side and cook for 5 minutes more.
- Carefully open packets -- the steam is hot -- place on a platter and serve

- Preheat grill to 400°F.
- Mash butter with salt, garlic powder and pepper until smooth (works great with a small fork).
- Rub each ear of corn with butter mixture, then place on large aluminium foil pieces (I do 2 ears of corn per foil packet, but can also do each individually). If using regular aluminium foil, use a double layer to protect corn from direct heat. Fold foil up and over ears of corn to create a foil packet, crimping to seal all edges.
- Place corn in foil packets on grill, close lid and grill for 10 minutes.
- Carefully remove packets from grill, very carefully open and flip each ear of corn. Carefully seal foil packets again and finish grilling corn for another 10-20 minutes, until cooked through and slightly starting to brown.
- Carefully remove foil packets from grill, carefully open and serve corn with more butter and salt.

- 1. Preheat a grill to medium-high heat. Combine the butter, cumin, cayenne and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a small bowl. Brush half of the butter mixture over the ears of corn and wrap each ear in a piece of heavy-duty foil.
- 2. Place the wrapped ears of corn on the grill and cook, turning every 10 minutes, until the corn feels soft on all sides when you squeeze it with tongs, about 30 minutes. Remove from the grill and cool for about 5 minutes.

this is the best way we like to have corn on the cob. the corn finishes cooking in the butter and seasoning, instead of adding them afterwards. it's also really easy to prepare as a side dish at a bbq, since you can do all the prep. ahead of time, and then just place them on the grill. we use greek seasoning, but i have used a variety of spices, be adventurous!
