Most peanut butter and jelly sandwiches feature white bread, sugary jellies and hydrogenated oil filled peanut butter. This super healthy alternative is brimming with enzymes, protein, heart healthy fats and delicious taste. It uses sprouted Ezekial bread that can be found at health food stores and some super markets and other raw ingredients.

2 slices sprouted whole wheat bread
3 tablespoons raw almond butter
1/2 tablespoon raw honey
1 banana

Steps:

  • slice banana into thin slices.
  • spread raw almond butter onto 1 bread slice.
  • place banana slices on top of raw almond butter.
  • drizzle banana slices with raw honey.
  • place remaining slice of bread on top.
  • enjoy!

The classic combination of bananas and cinnamon gets bulked up with almonds and walnuts for a healthy, super raw snack!

90 g dried bananas
80 g dried dates, soaked in water 10 minutes and drained
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 pinch sea salt
45 g walnuts
65 g almonds

Steps:

  • Place the bananas, dates, cinnamon and salt in a food processor and grind to a paste.
  • Add the nuts and process until a doughy ball-like mixture forms.
  • Scrape onto a sheet of plastic wrap, cover with another sheet of plastic wrap and roll to a 1/2" - 3/4" thickness.
  • Remove top layer of plastic wrap and cut the dough into 12 pieces.
  • Wrap individually in plastic wrap and keep in the fridge up to 1 week.
