Strawberry Lemonade Margaritas Food

ULTIMATE FROZEN STRAWBERRY MARGARITA

Steps:

• Fill a blender with ice and crush. Pour in the tequila and triple sec. Add the strawberries and limeade. Blend for 30 seconds or until smooth. Serve in margarita glasses with the rims dipped in powdered sugar.

STRAWBERRY LEMONADE MARGARITAS

Steps:

• Add salt to a shallow dish. Cut a lime wedge and run it around the rim of a glass. Gently dip the glass into the salt twisting back and fourth to coat. Fill with ice and set aside.
• In a martini shaker add the tequila, cointreau and strawberry lemonade. Shake well.
• Pour over ice and add a squeeze of fresh lime juice to taste if desired.
• Garnish with thinly sliced limes and strawberries.

STRAWBERRY LEMONADE

Steps:

• Tip the sugar and 1 litre water into a saucepan over a medium heat and heat, stirring, until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from the heat and leave to cool completely.
• Put the strawberries in a blender and blitz to a purée. You can strain this through a fine mesh sieve to remove any seeds, if you prefer. Tip the strawberry purée into a large jug with the sugar water and lemon juice, and stir to combine. Pour into glasses filled with ice and serve garnished with whole strawberries, if you like. Will keep chilled for a day.
