A great and easy appetizer that everyone loves. Super simple and will be the first appetizer to go, they're so delicious!

Number Of Ingredients 2

1 packages little smokies
1-2 packages Pillsbury® crescent rolls

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°
  • Pop open the crescent rolls and separate each triangle.
  • Cut each triangle into 3 additional triangle pieces.
  • Wrap the little smokies and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
  • Once all the crescents are wrapped, place in the oven and bake according to crescent roll directions or until golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and place each little smokie crescent into the crock pot, cover and turn to keep warm.
  • Enjoy!

When you don't have the time to make a yeast dough from scratch, these "quickie sticky buns" are great. Using handy refrigerated crescent rolls, you're off to a speedy start in assembling these ever-popular treats.

Yield 32 rolls.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup corn syrup
2 tubes (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent rolls
2/3 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, butter and corn syrup. Spread in two greased 8-in. square baking pans; set aside. Unroll each tube of crescent roll dough into a rectangle; seal seams and perforations. Combine pecans, sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over dough. Roll up, jelly-roll style, starting with a long side; seal edge. Cut each roll into 16 slices. Place cut side down in prepared pans. Bake at 375° for 13-17 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pans for 1 minute before inverting onto serving plates.

1 lb Little Smokies sausage
2 (8 ounce) cans crescent rolls
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup butter
6 tablespoons brown sugar

Steps:

  • Roll sausages in crescent rolls. You'll have to cut each crescent triange into 2 to 3 pieces to have enough.
  • Melt butter in 13x9 glass pan.
  • Stir in and melt brown sugar.
  • Sprinkle pecans over butter mixture.
  • Place rolled up suasages one right next to the other over the butter mixture & pecans.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

These Little Smokies in Crescent Rolls are baked on a delicious mix of brown sugar, honey and chopped pecans for a sweet and savory party appetizer.

1/2 cup butter
4 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons mild honey
3/4 cup chopped pecans
1 (8-oz) can crescent rolls
24 little smokies

Steps:

  • Place butter in a 9x13 inch casserole dish. Place in the oven, then turn oven to 400°F. Butter will melt as oven is warming, about 5-7 minutes. Remove dish from oven as soon as butter has melted, do not burn!
  • Stir brown sugar, honey and pecans into melted butter. Set aside.
  • Slice each crescent roll triangle into three smaller triangles. Wrap each piece around one smokie. Place seam-side dow on pecan mixture.
  • Bake, uncovered, at 400°F for 15 minutes, or until golden. Let sit on counter for 5-10 minutes before serving.
