Steak In A Package image

This is my go to meal when camping or on the road for horse shows. It's literally a whole meal in one foil packet.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1-1 1/2 pound(s) chuck, cubed or deer seak
1 package(s) onion soup mix
3 - carrots- halved and quartered
2 - celery ribs, cut into sticks
3 medium potatoes - quartered
2 tablespoon(s) butter
- salt, pepper, and paprika to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Take a 2-3 foot piece of foil and layer meat in center. Sprinkle meat with onion soup mix and add carrots, celery and

  • Fold and seal foil and place on baking sheet. Bake for 1-1 1/2 hours.
