STARBUCKS TOFFEE BARS

Steps:

• PREHEAT oven to 375°F Grease 9-inch-square baking pan.
• COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat sugar, butter and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Beat in egg; gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and chopped toffee. Spread into prepared baking pan.
• BAKE for 20 to 23 minutes. Remove pan to wire rack. Cool completely in pan on wire rack; refrigerate for 5 to 10 minutes or until chocolate is set. Cut into bars.

TOFFEE BARS

Steps:

• Cream butter and sugar, add slightly beaten egg yolk.
• Add flour and vanilla and beat well.
• Spread in greased pan (I use a jelly roll pan).
• Bake at 250 degrees until batter is slightly brown and firm enough not to jiggle when pan is shaken (about 30 minutes).
• Remove from oven and immediately lay the unwrapped Hershey bars on top. After 2 or 3 minutes, spread the melted candy over the bars to form an icing.
• Let cool. I usually stick the pan in the fridge to speed this process up.

"STARBUCKS" OAT FUDGE BARS

Steps:

• Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
• Mix flour, soda and oats and add slowly to creamed mixture.
• Spread 3/4 of this into 9x13 pan.
• Melt remaining ingredients in a saucepan and pour over dough in pan.
• Blob the remaining oat mixture on top.
• Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.

TOFFEE BARS

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350°F.
• Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
• Mix in egg yolk.
• Ad flour gradually, stirring only to blend.
• Add vanilla.
• Spread about 1/4 inch thick in lightly buttered 10 x 15" jelly-roll pan.
• Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
• Remove from oven and while still hot distribute chocolate on top.
• When chocolate is soft, spread smoothly over surface.
• Sprinkle with nuts.
• While still warm, cut into bars.
