Categories     Easy Recipes

Time 2h20m

Number Of Ingredients 10

½ cup brown sugar
1 stick of butter (8 tbls), softened
1 cup flour
½ cup sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup mini chocolate chips
Sprinkles
1 bag white chocolate candy melts
½ cup heavy cream
Gel food coloring

Steps:

  • Combine brown sugar and softened butter in a large bowl with a hand mixer until evenly blended. Add in flour, condensed milk, and vanilla extract. Blend on med-high until you have a thick dough. Fold in chocolate chips and sprinkles with a spoon or spatula.
  • Line a square baking pan with parchment paper, then spread dough out evenly in your pan. Make sure to press firmly all around the surface to get one uniformed layer. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  • While dough is chilling, make your topping by combining white chocolate chips and heavy cream in a saucepan over low-medium heat. Stir frequently until melted and creamy. Add a drop of gel food coloring.
  • Take the dough from the refrigerator and pour your topping layer over the surface. Add sprinkles to the top. Return to chill for another hour, then cut and serve.

EGG FREE, NO-BAKE COOKIE DOUGH (FOR EATING!)

Egg Free, No-Bake Cookie Dough (For Eating!) image

Everyone has those nights where they just want to curl up with a movie and a bowl of ice cream or cookie dough. This cookie dough is perfect for doing so- it is low in salt, quick to whip up, and tastes absolutely delicious frozen. Homemade cookie dough is wonderful on top of all kinds of desserts, too. (When making cookie dough that is not being baked, leave out the eggs and substitute them with a little water if needed to avoid the chance of getting Salmonella.)

Provided by Jessa M

Categories     Dessert

Time 5m

Yield 3 cups, 8 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 cup flour
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt (can be left out or reduced to just a pinch)
1/2 cup margarine
6 tablespoons granulated sugar
6 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
water (add small amounts until the dough is proper consistency( about 1/8 cup at a time to avoid making it )

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients except for the water in a bowl. It helps if you cream the margarine separately and then add it to the bowl to avoid spending a long time trying to smooth out pieces of margarine. The mixture will be very crumbly and dry because the eggs were left out (to avoid salmonella issues when eating raw). Gradually begin adding small amounts of water until dough reaches desired consistency.
  • Store in the fridge or freezer (not at room temperature or it will quickly spoil because it contains uncooked margarine). Eat with a spoon or place on top of pies, ice cream cakes, cheesecake, homemade icecream, or frozen yogurt!

MONSTER COOKIE DOUGH BARS

Monster Cookie Dough Bars image

These no-bake Cookie Dough Bars include all the best parts of gooey cookie dough and irresistible monster cookies combined in one delicious dessert.

Provided by Jennifer Fishkind

Categories     Dessert

Time 2h22m

Number Of Ingredients 13

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup (2 sticks) salted butter (softened)
1 cup brown sugar (lightly packed)
1 cup granulated white sugar
½ cup creamy peanut butter
¼ cup caramel syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp salt
1 cup old-fashioned oats
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1½ cups mini M&Ms (divided in half)
1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
¼ cup half and half

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a rimmed sheet pan with parchment paper.
  • Spread the flour onto the sheet pan and bake in the oven for 5 minutes or until the flour reaches 160 degrees F.
  • Using a mixer, beat the salted butter, brown sugar, and granulated white sugar until combined, or 2-3 minutes. Beat in the peanut butter, caramel syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. It should take 1-2 minutes to mix them completely.
  • Add the all-purpose flour into the mixer.
  • Start the mixer on the lowest speed so the flour doesn't spill out and gradually increase the speed. Beat until combined, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Fold in the old-fashioned oats, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and ¾ cup of mini M&Ms.
  • Pour the dough into the baking pan and press to form to the bottom of the pan.
  • For the chocolate topping, microwave the semi-sweet chocolate chips and half and half together in a microwavable bowl. Microwave in increments of 15 seconds, stirring between each session to make sure it doesn't burn. It should take about 4-6 increments of 15 seconds until it is completely melted and mixed.
  • Pour the chocolate topping over the dough in the baking pan so that it spreads over the whole area. Spread with a knife if necessary. This is much easier done when it's still warm. Sprinkle with remaining ¾ cup mini M&Ms.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours or until completely set. Cut into bars and then enjoy.

THE TOP 10 NO-BAKE BAR COOKIES RECIPES - THE SPRUCE EATS

From thespruceeats.com
  • Special Kay Bars. I make these Special Kay bars about once a week for the kids at my husband's high school. They love them! These bars are very quick; I can put them together in about 10 minutes.
  • Microwave Chocolate Crisp Bars. These bars are rich and easy to make. They use cocoa flavored crisp rice cereal along with chocolate chips to make a super chocolatey bar cookie.
  • Peanut Butter Marshmallow Treats. What could make Rice Krispie Bars even better? Peanut butter. And what improves on that? Peanut butter cups! This peanut butter marshmallow treats recipe is simply sensational.
  • Caramel Cereal Chews. This recipe is super sweet, so be warned; you have to cut them into tiny pieces. This is my sister Laura's favorite bar cookie. If you like pralines, you'll love this recipe!
  • Peanut Butter Cup Bars. These bars taste just like Peanut Butter Cups, hence the name. But if you've ever made the knock-off peanut butter cup recipe, there's lots of fooling with coating miniature candy cups, filling them, then re-coating, and all that nonsense.
  • No Bake Rocky Road Bars. A dry chocolate frosting mix (I think Jiffy is the only manufacture of this product) is the secret ingredient in these chocolate super rich bar cookies.
  • Chocolate Butterscotch Naniamo Bars. Graham cracker crumbs form the base of this bar cookie, and it's topped with a filling made from instant pudding mix.
  • Lemon Snowdrift Bars. The crust for this unusual and delicious bar cookie is cooked on the stovetop. You make a custard of butter, sugar, eggs, and lemon juice, then stir in vanilla wafer crumbs, marshmallows and coconut.
  • Indoor S'Mores. Just about everyone has made S'mores. You know - you toast a marshmallow over a campfire (and it usually burns), then you make sandwiches with the hot marshmallow, graham crackers, and a candy bar.
  • Chewy Cereal Bars. Dried cranberries are stirred into the base for Special Kay bars, so these bar cookies are a bit more nutritious. And there's no frosting, so you can eat them sooner!
