Steps:

  • Prepare pizza dough according to package directions. With floured hands, press dough onto a greased 12-in. pizza pan. , Spread Alfredo sauce over dough to within 1 in. of edges. Thinly slice or chop tomatoes; top pizza with spinach, tomatoes and cheese. , Bake at 450° for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown.

1/3 cup mascarpone cheese

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook pancetta over medium heat until crisp. Using a slotted spoon, remove to paper towels to drain. Saute garlic in drippings for 1 minute. Add spinach; cook just until wilted. Drain spinach mixture on paper towels., In the same skillet, saute mushrooms in oil until tender; add the pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Transfer to a small bowl and let stand for 5 minutes. Stir in the mascarpone cheese, olives and pancetta. , Place crust on an ungreased pizza pan. But if you're used to the fancy stuff, you need to find your peace with the traditional pizza, somehow. Maybe you're out of town. 1 Flatout artisan thin crust flatbread
2 cups your favorite mushrooms: Crimini, button, shiitake, or a combination, sliced
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 cup pizza sauce
2 cups packed fresh spinach
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Place flatbread on a cookie sheet. Bake at 375°F for two minutes. Remove flatbread from oven. In a pan, heat olive oil, then add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until mushrooms are golden and toasty brown. Then add the garlic and the spinach, and stir gently until spinach is wilted. Add the vinegar and continue to cook until vinegar is reduced. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and set aside. Spread the pizza sauce on the flatbread, then arrange mushroom and spinach mixture onto the flatbread evenly and top with cheese. Bake for four minutes or until cheese is melted. Remove from the oven and cut into slices.

  • 2. In a small pot, mix together milk and flour over medium-high heat until thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Spread white sauce over partially baked crust.

2 large flat mushrooms , halved and sliced
2 garlic cloves , chopped
160g spinach , thoroughly dried after washing
1 red onion , halved and thinly sliced
40g vegetarian blue cheese , crumbled

½ tsp baking powder
3 tbsp bio yogurt mixed with 3 tbsp water

Cooking spray
1can (8 ounce) pizza sauce (1 cup)
2 cups torn fresh baby spinach leaves
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 ounce)

Steps:

  • Heat gas or charcoal grill. Cut 18x12-inch sheet of heavy-duty foil; place on large cookie sheet. Spray foil with cooking spray. Unroll dough onto sprayed foil. Starting at center, press out dough into 14x10-inch rectangle. Spray dough with cooking spray.
  • Invert dough rectangle directly onto grill rack; peel off foil and return foil to cookie sheet, sprayed side up. Cook uncovered on gas grill over medium-low heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium-low coals 2 to 4 minutes or until bottom is golden brown. (Watch carefully to prevent burning.) SPINACH ARTICHOKE AND MUSHROOM ALFREDO PIZZA

I fell in love with the alfredo artichoke pizza at Artichoke downtown and wanted to make a less expensive and less rich version at home since I like experimenting with tomato-free pizzas. I like using Recipe #453818 or Recipe #31072 to make little 8" crusts but I made a 12" version of the Sicilian dough with this pizza to have dinner ready for 2 days. I made some alfredo sauce with soymilk, dairy butter, and a packet of Simply Organic alfredo sauce mix and used that along with some fresh mushrooms and canned artichoke pieces that I rinsed. Just use whatever you have on hand or floats your boat, it'll be delicious no matter what! All the following measurements are completely approximate; it's more to give you an idea of what to use on your pizza to get this exquisite flavor that is a different kind of blonde/white pizza.

3/4 cup alfredo sauce, whatever kind you like
2 -3 cups spinach, chopped in a food processor

Bake at 450 F for 5 – 8 minutes or until cooked but not brown. Remove from oven.
