Steps:
- Squeeze excess moisture from spinach. in bowl, combine sour cream, spinach, mayo, soup mix, water chestnuts, and green onions. Stir until well combined.
- Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours to blend flavors.
- Scoop out large hollow through top of bread loaf. Fill with dip mixture.
- serve with bread cubes from cut center and assorted fresh veggies.
- Cooking time includes marinating time.

This recipe came from our cookbook at the beauty shop where I work. We had many pot lucks, and every one wanted this and that recipe, so we all gave recipes and had our own book printed and sold them in the salon.

Steps:
- Thaw and drain the spinach.
- Squeeze the spinach with paper towels to remove excess water.
- Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
- Let set in the fridge for a couple hours before serving.
- I like to serve it inside a hollowed out round loaf of bread.
- Scoop out the loaf and place dip inside.
- I use what I scoop out for making croutons.
- Serve with fresh vegetables.

- In a medium bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sour cream, dry leek soup mix, water chestnuts and chopped spinach. Chill in the refrigerator 6 hours, or overnight.

REALLY GOOD VEGAN SPINACH TOFU DIP (EVEN IF YOU HATE TOFU/VEGAN
The olives really make this dip - don't omit them! :) I'm a diehard carnivore, but I was going to a potluck and wanted to bring a cheap, egg-free, dairy-free dish in case there were allergies or vegetarians there. I took about six recipes off the Internet, combined them and added a few more things, and it was great! I let it sit in the fridge for two days and just re-mixed it before serving. At the potluck, there was not a single vegetarian there, and they all liked this dip. Cayenne and grated carrot would probably be great in this and make it a more "traditional" spinach dip. You may want to start with less garlic if you're not a big fan.

- Defrost spinach and squeeze out as much liquid as you can.
- Drain tofu of any excess liquid.
- Place tofu and oil in a large bowl. Use a hand mixer on high speed to combine them until creamy.
- Add pepper, vegetable bouillon powder, dried basil, garlic powder, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Blend on high speed for 1 minute.
- On low speed, mix in onion, spinach, and olives.
- Taste and adjust seasonings to your preference.
- Cover the bowl and place in the fridge. Let it sit for at least 8 hours for the flavours to meld, preferably overnight.
- Serve with crackers, bread, chips, or vegetables for dipping.
FRESH SPINACH DIP RECIPE
Steps:
- Chop up your spinach leaves in a food processor or blender; put into bowl and set aside.
- Cut up cream cheese into small blocks and put in the food processor.
- Add the accent and minced onion; blend together until well combined.
- Add the mayonnaise and blend until smooth.
- Add the chopped up spinach and half and half to the cream cheese/mayo mixture and blend well.
- If it is too thick, you can add a little more half and half until you get it to the consistency you like.
- Dip fresh veggies.
