SPICY HARISSA PULL-APART BREAD
Harissa, a fiery Tunisian spice paste, gives this easy pull-apart bread a kick of heat. It starts with refrigerated pizza dough, followed by a layer of cream cheese, parsley and harissa. The dough is cut into squares, folded in half and lined up in a loaf pan. After baking, just pull off a piece and get to snacking!

Steps:
- Grease a 9-by-5-inch loaf pan with the butter.
- In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, mix the cream cheese for 1 minute. Scrape the bowl well. Add the harissa, parsley, lemon zest, onion powder, garlic powder and pepper and mix until well combined.
- On a lightly floured surface, unroll the pizza dough and press both pieces together to form one large piece of dough. With a rolling pin, roll out to 1/4 inch thick. You should end up with a 16-by-16-inch square.
- Dollop the harissa mixture all over the dough and spread into an even layer. Cut the dough into four 4-inch-wide strips, then cut crosswise to create sixteen 4-by-4-inch squares. Working one at a time, fold a piece of dough in half. Place the rounded/folded side in the base of the pan, with the filling side facing up. Continue to fold and place dough in the pan until the pan is full.
- Cover loosely with plastic wrap and let rise until puffy, 45 to 60 minutes. Towards the end of rise time, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a small bowl, whisk the egg with 1 tablespoon water to combine. Gently brush the egg wash over the surface of the dough and sprinkle generously with sesame seeds.
- Bake until the bread is golden brown and the thickest part of the dough registers 190 degrees F on an instant-read thermometer, 45 to 50 minutes. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then run an offset spatula around the outside edge to loosen the bread, then remove it from the pan. Serve warm.
STICKY PECAN PULL-APART BREAD

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Coat a 9-by-5-inch glass loaf pan with cooking spray. Mix together the sugar and pumpkin pie spice in a small bowl.
- Unroll the dough from each can and stack them on top of each other to make a double layer of dough. Press them together and roll the dough into a 12-inch square. Spread 4 tablespoons of the caramel evenly over the dough. Sprinkle the spiced sugar over the caramel, then sprinkle the pecans in an even layer, gently pressing them into the dough. Cut the dough into 16 small squares. Stack 4 of the squares on top of each other and repeat so you have 4 stacks of 4. Place each stack on its side in the prepared loaf pan (it should look like a row of books). Gently separate the dough layers so the dough fills up the pan. Sprinkle any pecan mixture that fell out over top of the dough.
- Cover the loaf pan with foil and bake until golden brown and puffed, about 50 minutes. Uncover and continue baking until the top is golden brown, about 15 minutes. Cool on a wire rack for 15 minutes.
- Transfer to a serving platter and drizzle with the remaining 2 tablespoons caramel sauce before serving.
CHRISTMAS TREE PULL-APART BREAD
This easy, cheesy tree-shaped pizza bread is perfect for the holidays. Store-bought dough helps it come together quickly for an impressive (and festive!) appetizer.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Sprinkle a work surface with flour to prevent sticking. Cut the pizza dough into 32 pieces by dividing it in half, then cutting each half in half and so on until you have 32 fairly evenly-sized pieces. Cut the mozzarella into 32 cubes.
- Line a baking sheet with foil and spray lightly with cooking spray. Insert 1 piece of the mozzarella into each of the dough pieces, pinching the dough around the cheese and rolling into a ball. Make sure the cheese is completely sealed inside the dough. Repeat with all of the cheese and dough.
- Arrange the dough balls into the shape of a Christmas tree on the prepared baking sheet. Start with 1 at the center of the top of the sheet pan as the treetop. Then make rows of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 in a pyramid shape below the first ball, to make a triangular "tree" shape. Place the last 2 balls at the top of the pyramid to act as a tree topper.
- Melt the butter in a small pan. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds, then remove from heat. Brush half of the garlic butter over the dough and sprinkle with kosher salt. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until the dough is lightly browned and cooked through. (It¿s okay if some of the cheese bursts through ¿ it will crisp up and taste delicious.)
- Remove from the oven and brush with the remaining garlic butter, then sprinkle with the parsley and mixed herbs. Sprinkle with the Parmesan and spread the basil ribbons over the top. If desired, spoon some of the sauce in lines across the tree to look like a garland. Serve immediately with the remaining sauce on the side.
CHEESY PULL-APART GARLIC BREAD
Studded with melty cheese and herbs, this garlic bread couldn't be easier! I like to buy a crusty round loaf of bread right from the bakery section of my grocery store. Be careful not to cut all the way through the loaf-you don't want the cheese to ooze out the bottom and stick to the pan.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Score the bread with 2-inch-deep cuts with a serrated knife into a 1-inch diamond pattern without slicing all the way through. Place on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the parsley, onion powder, salt and garlic. Brush the butter mixture all over the bread and into the cut diamonds using a pastry brush. Insert the cheese cubes in the crevices of the bread.
- Cover the bread with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly, 8 to 10 more minutes. Sprinkle with more fresh parsley. Serve hot!
