Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- For the crust: Melt 1 cup of the candy bars with the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat, whisking frequently, about 4 minutes.
- Pulse the cookies in a food processor to fine crumbs. Drizzle in the candy mixture until the crumbs are completely coated. Firmly press the crumb mixture into the bottom and up the side of a 9-inch deep-dish pie plate. Bake until the crust is set, 10 to 12 minutes. Spread the dulce de leche over the warm crust with an offset spatula then drizzle with 1/4 cup hot fudge; set aside.
- For the filling: Beat the peanut butter, cream cheese and sugar in a large bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed until combined. Whip the cream in a medium bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed until stiff peaks form. Fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until combined. Fold in the remaining 1 cup chopped candy bars. Pour the filling into the crust, evening out the top with a spatula. Drizzle with the remaining 1/4 cup hot fudge sauce.
- Make a decorative ring around the edge of the pie (do not cover the crust) with more chopped candy bars, overlapping them slightly. Inside that ring, make a second ring with the chopped peanuts. Chill until set, at least 4 hours and up to overnight.

Steps:
- Make the crust: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Brush an 8-inch springform pan with some of the melted butter. Mix the remaining butter with the graham cracker crumbs, sugar and salt in a bowl. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of the prepared pan. Bake until golden brown, about 15 minutes. Cool completely on a rack.
- Make the filling: Halve and pit the avocados, then scoop out the flesh and chop. Transfer to a bowl, add the cream cheese and beat with a mixer on medium speed until smooth. Add the condensed milk, lime and lemon juices, and the salt and beat until fluffy, scraping the bowl as needed. Pour the filling into the crust, press a piece of plastic wrap directly on the surface and chill at least 4 hours.
- Remove the springform ring and slice the pie. Garnish with whipped cream or confectioners' sugar, if desired, and serve immediately (the top will start to brown as the pie sits).
SNACKERS
These crispy, chewy treats pack lots of peanut flavor. They're our favorite travel snack. I always make a double batch so we have some left when we reach our destination. -Mrs. W.H. Gregory, Roanoke, Virginia

THE BEST BROWNIE PIE

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare pie crust as directed and press into a 9" pie plate. Chill until filling is ready.
- Note: if you want a crunchy bottom crust, partially bake the crust before adding the filling: Preheat oven to 425°F. Line your crust with parchment paper and add pie weights or dry beans. Bake for 15-20 minutes, remove the beans/parchment and add the filling.
- Place baking chocolates and butter in a large microwave safe bowl. Heat in 30 second increments, stirring between each, until melted and smooth (about 2 minutes depending on your microwave).
- Stir sugar into chocolate mixture, then stir in eggs until well mixed. Add the vanilla, cocoa, and salt and stir until smooth, then carefully stir in the flour.
- Pour batter into the pie crust. Place pie onto a cookie sheet. Cover the pie crust with a pie crust shield or strips of foil. Bake for 38-48 minutes, until the top is cracked. The pie shown in the photos was baked for 38 minutes (a toothpick came out wet) and the center is very gooey, which is how we like it. The center won't turn to a crumbly brownie texture because of the crust - it'll stay pretty fudgy, but if you like it more done, cook it longer, until less wet more crumbs stick to the toothpick. Your choice! Just be sure to remove the foil strips or pie shield after about 20-25 minutes of baking so that it has time to become slightly golden brown.
- Cool the pie completely before slicing and serving with ice cream or whipped cream. Store covered at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze slices for up to one month.
