Steps:
- Combine tomatoes, onion, and garlic in a large stock pot and bring to a boil; lower heat and simmer 30 minutes or until vegetables are very soft. Working in batches, puree vegetables until smooth with Harvest Pro food mill or in the bowl of a food processor.
- Return tomato mixture to the pot and add remaining ingredients, bring to a boil over high heat, stirring frequently. Lower heat and simmer until thickened and darker in color, about 1½-2 hours, stirring occasionally to prevent scorching.
- Prepare boiling water canner while sauce is cooking. Heat jars in simmering water until ready to use. Do not boil. Wash lids in warm soapy water and set aside with bands.
- Ladle hot BBQ sauce into a hot jar leaving a ½-inch headspace. Remove air bubbles. Wipe jar rim. Center lid on jar and apply band; adjust to fingertip tight. Place jar in boiling water canner. Repeat until all jars are filled.
- Process jars for 20 minutes, adjusting for altitude. Turn off heat, remove lid, let jars stand 5 minutes. Remove jars and cool 12-24 hours. Check lids for seal. They should not flex when center is pressed.
- Enjoy!

SWEET AND SMOKY BARBEQUE SAUCE
Use this toward the end of cooking as you would for any BBQ meat such as pork, ribs, or chicken. I have even used it on beef and hamburgers, sausages, hot dogs, or anything you want, for the most part. I use it on everything from ribs to roasts to hamburgers to hot dogs. Even goes good with a good old classic grilled cheese sandwich. This is a great all-round BBQ sauce. Use right away or cool to room temperature, transfer to jars or containers, and refrigerate. The sauce will keep for several months in the fridge.

SMOKEY BBQ SAUCE
I have developed this sauce over a few years. The flavors develope a richer more flavorful sauce over the next day or so in the fridge. I always have everything on hand and takes no time to make. I keep an extra bottle in the fridge. If you want spicier, you can add some chopped jalapeno, or onion.

LOW CARB SMOKEY, SWEET AND HOT BARBECUE SAUCE
After a trip to Kansas City where I was in barbecue heaven, I got inspired and purchased a smoker and decided to try to make my own low carb, no sugar added barbecue sauce. The regular store bought ones have a ton of sugar in them, and the low carb or sugar free ones taste really bad. After doing some research online, and remebering that my Grandpa used to use coca cola in his venison marinade, I created this tasty concoction in my ver own kitchen. A 12 0z can of diet soda sweetened with splenda and a 6 oz can of tomato paste is a perfect base for a low carb barbecue sauce-if you don't like the flavors in my sauce, use this base and create your own sauce according to your tastes.

Steps:
- heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in pan, Add the onion and cook over medium until soft - 3-5 minutes.
- Add fresh garlic at this point and cook it for half a minute or so.
- Add the rest of the ingredients, stir to combine.
- Heat over medium heat till sauce bubbles, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 45-60 minutes. Sauce will cook down a bit and flavors will combine.
- Add about a half a cup of water at this point to thin the consistency a bit.
- Note : If you can't find low carb catsup, leave it out, but add about 1 extra tablespoon of vinegar and some sweetener, to taste.
- Adjust the seasonings so you have the balance you want - you can add vinegar, artificial sweetener, or hot sauce or liquid smoke. (If it's too hot, adding more sweetener will tone it down.).

SMOKY BBQ BLACK BEAN BURGER RECIPE BY TASTY

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange the sweet potato in a single layer on one third of the baking sheet. Drizzle with ½ tablespoon of olive oil and toss to coat. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove the baking sheet from the oven and spread the walnuts next to the sweet potatoes, taking up another third of the baking sheet. Return to the oven for 5 minutes, then remove the baking sheet from the oven. Flip the sweet potatoes and stir the walnuts, then spread the black beans in a single layer on the remaining third of the baking sheet. Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for another 5 minutes, until the black beans are dry and cracked open, the walnuts are golden brown, and the sweet potatoes are cooked through and browning around the edges. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool slightly. Leave the oven on.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large cast iron skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add the mushrooms and ¼ teaspoon salt and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms are browned and have shrunk to half of their original size. Transfer the mushrooms to a bowl. Set aside the pan for cooking the burgers (no need to wipe it out).
- Add the roasted black beans and walnuts to a food processor and pulse 3-4 times, until the mixture is just crumbly (do not overprocess). Add the mushrooms, sweet potatoes, ½ cup quinoa, McCormick® Chili Powder, McCormick® Smoked Paprika, McCormick® Ground Cumin, remaining teaspoon of salt, and ¼ cup Stubb's® Original BBQ Sauce and pulse until the sweet potatoes and mushrooms are broken down into smaller pieces and the mixture is well combined but still has some texture; do not overprocess into a paste.
- Transfer the black bean mixture to a large bowl and stir in the remaining ½ cup quinoa. Season with more salt, chili powder, paprika, and/or cumin to taste.
- Line the baking sheet with a clean sheet of parchment paper.
- Using a ½-cup measuring cup and wet hands, pack the black bean mixture into the measuring cup, then tap out onto the palm of one hand. Use the other hand to gently press into a ½-inch-thick patty. Carefully place on the prepared baking sheet, then repeat to make 3 more patties. Chill the patties in the refrigerator, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
- In the same pan used for the mushrooms, heat the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering. Carefully add the burgers to the pan and cook for 8-10 minutes, carefully flipping halfway, until browned on both sides. Brush the top of each patty with 1 tablespoon of Stubb's® Original BBQ Sauce, then transfer the pan to the oven for 10 minutes, or until the sauce starts to brown.
- To assemble, place a leaf of butter lettuce on the bottom half of a toasted bun, then top with a black bean patty, ¼ of the avocado, and ¼ cup red cabbage and drizzle with 2 tablespoons of Stubb's® Original BBQ Sauce. Finish with the top bun. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
- Enjoy!
