Easy baked mini party sandwiches with brown sugar glaze are the perfect party food for a crowd. Make them ahead with simple ingredients like Hawaiian party rolls, ham, cheese, and a brown sugar glaze that will have your guests begging for the recipe.

1 cup butter
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire
2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 Tablespoons poppy seeds
24 party size mini rolls
1 pound sliced sharp cheddar cheese
2 pounds sliced deli ham {honey or baked is best}

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Slice rolls in half for sandwiches. Place bottom halves on a 9 x 13 baking sheet.
  • Place a layer of cheese, topped by a layer of ham, and the roll tops.
  • Meanwhile, melt butter in a sauce pan over low heat. Stir in remaining glaze ingredients and bring to a low boil. Let boil for about 2 minutes or until it begins to thicken slightly.
  • Remove from heat and ladle over the tops of the sandwiches, covering fully.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, uncovered.
  • Remove, slice and serve.

24 potato dinner rolls (1 package)
1 lb chipped ham
1 lb sliced swiss cheese
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons mustard
2 tablespoons poppy seeds
2 teaspoons onion flakes (optional)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Without separating into individual rolls, cut tops off.
  • Line 9x13 pan with roll bottoms and place ham and cheese onto bottoms.
  • Put tops of rolls back on.
  • In a saucepan, mix remaining ingredients and bring to a boil for 2 minutes.
  • Pour sauce evenly over sandwiches.
  • Bake uncovered for 20 minutes.

6 slices mozzarella cheese
6 slices colby cheese
1 1/4 lbs hickory smoked ham, shaved

3/4 cup butter
2 tablespoons onions, minced
2 teaspoons poppy seeds

Steps:

  • Cut cheese slices into quarters.
  • Layer rolls with meat and 1/4 slice of cheese.

¾ cup melted butter
1 ½ tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 ½ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 ½ tablespoons poppy seeds
1 tablespoon dried minced onion
24 mini sandwich rolls
1 pound thinly sliced cooked deli ham
1 pound thinly sliced Swiss cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a bowl, mix together butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, and dried onion. Separate the tops from bottoms of the rolls, and place the bottom pieces into the prepared baking dish. Layer about half the ham onto the rolls. Arrange the Swiss cheese over the ham, and top with remaining ham slices in a layer. Place the tops of the rolls onto the sandwiches. Pour the mustard mixture evenly over the rolls.

Olive oil, for roasting pan
1 teaspoon dried oregano, crumbled
3/4 teaspoon ground coriander
Coarse salt and ground pepper
2 pork tenderloins (3/4 pound each)
2/3 cup balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons light-brown sugar
4 teaspoons Dijon mustard
8 country rolls, or other small rolls, split
1 large red onion, sliced into thin rounds

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Lightly oil a 9-by-13-inch roasting pan; set aside. In a small bowl, mix oregano, coriander, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Rub mixture evenly over pork tenderloins. Place pork in prepared pan.
  • In a small saucepan, bring vinegar and brown sugar to a boil over high heat; cook, stirring occasionally, until mixture is reduced to 1/2 cup, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Roast pork 5 minutes; brush with 1/3 of balsamic mixture, coating entirely. Roast another 5 minutes; brush with remaining balsamic mixture. Continue roasting until internal temperature registers 155 degrees on an instant-read thermometer, about 10 minutes more. Remove from pan. Let rest 10 minutes; slice 1/4 inch thick.
  • Spread mustard over split rolls, then layer half with pork and onions. Top with remaining bread halves.
