CREAMY VANILLA FRUIT DIP



Creamy Vanilla Fruit Dip image

A simple, creamy fruit dip made with cream cheese, greek yogurt, and a hint of vanilla bean.

Number Of Ingredients 4

8 ounces cream cheese, softened ((I recommend either full fat or low fat; avoid non-fat))
6 ounces plain greek yogurt
1.5 Tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste

Steps:

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a stand mixer and beat on medium until light and fluffy.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate (covered) for up to 3 days.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1/2 cup butter, softened (no substitutes)
1/2 cup ground almonds
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup flour
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 squares semisweet chocolate (1 oz. each)
1/2 teaspoon shortening

Steps:

  • In a mixing bowl, cream butter, ground almonds, sugar and vanilla.
  • Add flour and cornstarch.
  • Roll into 1-inch balls; shape into crescents.
  • Place on greased baking sheets.
  • Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Cool completely on wire racks.
  • Melt semisweet chocolate and shortening in a microwave or double boiler; stir until smooth.
  • Dip one end of each crescent into chocolate; cool on waxed paper. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm the chocolate.
