Here's what you need: onion, boneless, skinless chicken breasts, seasoned salt, pepper, dried oregano, dijon mustard, honey, garlic, slider buns

1 onion, sliced
3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 ½ teaspoons seasoned salt
½ teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
⅓ cup honey
6 cloves garlic, minced
12 slider buns

Steps:

  • Add all ingredients to a slow cooker and stir until chicken and onions are coated with seasonings.
  • Cook on high for 3-4 hours, or until chicken is cooked and shreddable.
  • With a set of tongs or two forks, shred the chicken and stir into the juices.
  • Distribute evenly between slider buns.
  • Enjoy!

1 14.5 oz. can Chicken Broth
4 Chicken Breasts
1 18 oz. BBQ Sauce (I used Montgomery Inn Sauce on mine)

Steps:

  • You can cook these fast, or you can cook these slow. It's up to you and how fast you want to eat these. For fast, heat your slow cooker to high and prepare to let it cook for 4 hours. For slow, heat your slow cooker to low and prepare to cook for 8 hours.
  • Once you have the slow cooker set, take the Chicken broth and poor into the bottom of the slow cooker. Then place the 4 chicken breasts on the bottom of the cooker and cover. Cook per setting you chose from above.
  • Once the chicken is finished, remove from the slow cooker, place in skillet, and begin to shred the chicken.
  • Heat your oven to 350. Once the chicken is shredded, place into a medium skillet and mix well with the BBQ sauce. Place in the oven and bake uncovered for an additional 30 minutes.

6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
12 ounces of your favorite barbecue sauce ((I use Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue Sauce))
1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1 teaspoon dried herbs ((I use a mix of oregano and thyme))
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
salt and pepper, (to taste (optional))

Steps:

  • Add chicken breasts to the insert of your slow cooker.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the barbecue sauce, chicken broth, and worcestershire sauce.
  • Whisk in the brown sugar, dried herbs, garlic powder, and paprika until thoroughly incorporated.
  • Add barbecue sauce mixture to the chicken; turn to coat.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours, or until chicken is cooked through. Check for doneness with an instant read thermometer; chicken is cooked through when internal temperature registers at 165˚F.
  • Remove chicken from slow cooker; transfer chicken to a cutting board and shred it.
  • Return shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir around to coat. Taste for salt and/or pepper, and adjust accordingly.
  • Serve over salads, on buns, sandwich bread, lettuce leaves, or however you'd like!
