- Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the bacon and mince in batches until browned. Add to your slow cooker.

- Season chicken with salt and pepper, to taste. Place chicken into a 6-qt slow cooker. In a large bowl, combine crushed tomatoes, onion, basil, oregano, parsley and red pepper flakes, if using. Stir into the slow cooker and gently toss to combine. Cover and cook on low heat for 4 hours. Remove chicken from the slow cooker and shred, using two forks. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta according to package instructions; drain well. Stir pasta and chicken into the slow cooker; top with cheeses. Cover and cook on low heat for an additional 10-20 minutes, or until the cheeses have melted. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley, if desired.

- Brown and crumble ground beef (season with salt and pepper.) Drain excess grease and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, sour cream, ricotta cheese, minced garlic and parsley.
- In the bottom of a 6 quart (or larger) oval slow cooker, add half a jar of spaghetti sauce.
- Evenly layer half the box of the cavatappi pasta on top of sauce.
- Pour remaining jar of spaghetti sauce over noodles.
- Pour on half a jar of water.
- Then layer half the cooked ground beef mixture over top.
- Dollop the entire cream cheese mixture evenly as possible over the beef layer. Do not stir.
- Evenly layer the rest of the cavatappi pasta on top of the cream cheese layer.
- Top evenly with remaining jar of spaghetti sauce
- Pour another half jar of water on top of spaghetti sauce.
- Finally, layer the rest of the cooked ground beef on top.
- Cover and cook on low for about 3-4 hours.
- Stir mixture and make sure pasta is fully cooked. If not, cover and allow to cook for another hour. Then evenly layer the top with 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Cover for an additional 15-20 minutes (until cheese is melted.) Sprinkle with a little dried parsley for color (optional).)

This is my version of a recipe I have had for years. I have no idea where I got the original recipe but I have made so many changes that I re-named it. Also the serving amounts are just estimates because my family of 4 eats large portions compared to the average family. The milk or chicken broth in the recipe are optional because the soup mixture may be the desired consistency if the chicken makes enough of its own juice.

- Mix together soups, mushrooms and onion.
- Season with salt, pepper and garlic to taste.
- Place in slow cooker.
- Place chicken breast on top of the soup mixture, season with salt, pepper, garlic and Tony's.

- Pour one jar of pasta sauce, broth, onion, green peppers, garlic powder, pepper, Italian seasoning in a crockpot (6 quart or larger).
- Mix until combined.
- Add the pasta and parmesan cheese.
- Then, pour the second jar of pasta as evenly as you can, on top of the cheese.
- Cover and cook on High heat for 1 hour or until pasta is cooked through. Be sure to stir everything together at the 30 minute point. Please note that your cooking time may vary, based on the brand, size and even age of crockpot you are using. For me, 1 hour was the best cooking time. For you, it could be higher up to 1.5 hours or lower at just 40-45 minutes. Keep a close eye.

- Pour the jars of sauce in to the slow cooker. In a large skillet set over medium-high heat, brown the meat and onions together. After the meat is browned add the garlic, cook for a minute a longer. Drain the fat. Add the salt, pepper, oregano and basil and stir. Pour the meat onto the sauce in the slow cooker and stir.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6 hours without opening the lid during the cooking time.
- After the cooking time is up, cook the noodles as directed on the package in boiling water on the stove-top. I cooked my noodles for exactly 8 minutes after adding them to the boiling water. The noodles will cook a bit more after adding them to the slow cooker.
- Drain the noodles and add them to the meat sauce in the slow cooker. Stir, then flatten the noodles in an even layer.
- In a small bowl combine the cream cheese, ricotta and salt. The cream cheese will be in small chunks, but that is fine.
- Dollop the cream cheese/ricotta mixture over the spaghetti, then use a spatula to even it out over the spaghetti. Add the mozzarella cheese.
- Cover and cook for an extra 20 minutes on LOW.
- Serve and enjoy!
