Found this in a Paula Deen magazine and boy is it ever good! Super easy too. Tastes like you slaved away for hours. The chicken turns out very moist. Enjoy!

1/4 cup butter
1 (2/3 ounce) package Italian salad dressing mix
2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans condensed golden mushroom soup
1 (8 ounce) containter chive & onion cream cheese
1 cup white wine
6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves

Steps:

  • In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add dressing mix, stirring to comvine. Stir in soup, cream cheese, and wine; cook, stirring constantly, until cream cheese is melted.
  • Place chicken in bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker. Pour butter mixture over chicken. Cook on Low, 4 to 6 hours. Serve over pasta.

2 cups uncooked dried penne pasta
3 squares Italian Herb Saute Express® Saute Starter
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
½ cup chopped onion
2 large tomatoes, chopped
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
  • Melt 2 Saute Express® squares in 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-low heat just until bubbles begin to form.
  • Add chicken.
  • Saute 13-18 minutes or until chicken is golden brown on both sides and done (165 degrees F). Remove from skillet.
  • Melt remaining 1 Saute Express® square in skillet. Add onions; cook 1-2 minutes or until softened. Toss in pasta and tomatoes to coat.
  • Slice chicken; serve over pasta. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

3-4 boneless chicken breasts or boneless thighs
3/4 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 Tbsp italian seasoning
24 oz jar traditional pasta sauce or homemade
14 1/2 oz canned diced tomatoes or canned stewed tomatoes

Steps:

  • 1. Spray slow cooker with cooking spray. Place chicken in bottom of slow cooker.
  • 2. Sprinkle seasonings over chicken. Place vegetables on top of chicken.
  • 3. Pour sauce over vegetables and seasoned meat. Make sure vegetables and chicken are completely covered.
  • 4. Cover. Cook on low 8 hours.
  • 5. Serve over your favorite pasta. Enjoy!

This peasant style chicken dinner fills the house with a wonderful aroma as it cooks. Starting with frozen chicken helps keep it moist during the long cooking. Serve over hot cooked pasta with slabs of buttered fresh bread. We really like garlic. Feel free to reduce the quantities. If your cooker runs 'hot', check after 3 hours to see if it's almost done, then prop lid for remaining hour. If your cooker runs 'slower', check after 4 or 5 hours. You don't want to overcook the chicken as it will become dry. Once you know, you can note the cooking time on the recipe printout for future reference.

1 small eggplant, peeled and cut in 1/2-inch cubes (about 1 1/2 cups)
1 medium onion, cut in thin half moons
1 celery rib, thinly sliced (about 1/2 cup)
1/2 large carrot, cut in thin half moons (about 1/2 cup)
1/2 cup baby portabella mushrooms, coarsely chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
4 chicken breast halves, boneless, skinless still frozen
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 (14 -16 ounce) can chopped tomatoes
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon italian seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 sprig fresh rosemary

Steps:

  • Spray cooker with nonstick. Place onions, carrot, celery, mushrooms and eggplant in cooker. Top with chicken breasts (still frozen).
  • In bowl, combine tomato paste, tomatoes and their juice, tomato sauce, chopped garlic, spices and vinegar. Pour over chicken. Place rosemary sprig on top.
  • Cover and cook on high 4-6 hours, propping open the lid with toothpick the last hour to thicken the sauce. If your cooker runs 'hot', check after 3 hours to see if it's almost done, then prop lid. If your cooker runs 'slower', check after 4 or 5 hours. 1 can (14-1/2 ounces) reduced-sodium chicken broth
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) stewed tomatoes, cut up
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 green onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
3 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon ground mustard
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cold water
Hot cooked pasta
Optional: Grated Parmesan cheese and minced fresh basil

Steps:
