1 pound beef Sirloin Tip Steaks, cut 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick
1 teaspoon minced garlic
4 teaspoons vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced (1/2-inch)
1 package (3/4 ounce) brown gravy mix
4 cups cooked wide egg noodles
1/4 cup dairy sour cream

Steps:

  • Stack beef Sirloin Tip Steaks; cut lengthwise in half, then crosswise into 1-inch wide strips. Toss with garlic.
  • Heat 2 teaspoons oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add 1/2 of beef; stir-fry 1 minute or until outside surface of beef is no longer pink. (Do not overcook.) Remove. Repeat with remaining beef. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Heat remaining 2 teaspoons oil in same skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add mushrooms; cook and stir 2 minutes or until tender. Remove from heat. Add gravy mix and 1 cup cold water; blend well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 1 minute or until sauce is thickened, stirring frequently. Stir in beef; heat through. Serve over noodles. Pass sour cream.

  • Cut beef into cubes. In a large skillet over medium/high heat, heat the olive oil and brown beef cubes with the garlic.

2 teaspoons garlic powder
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 pounds beef top sirloin steaks
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat.
  • In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat with garlic powder and minced garlic. Set aside.
  • Sprinkle both sides of each steak with salt and pepper.

3/4 pound beef top sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
4 teaspoons butter
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 small onion, sliced and separated into rings
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
3 tablespoons beef broth
3 tablespoons dry red wine or additional beef broth
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
3/4 teaspoon soy sauce
Hot cooked noodles or rice

Steps:

  • In a skillet, brown beef in butter; remove and set aside. To the same skillet, add the oil and mushrooms, onion and garlic; saute until tender. Add beef; transfer to a greased 1-qt. baking dish. Cover and bake at 325° for 1 hour or until beef is tender., In a saucepan, combine the cornstarch, cream, broth, wine or additional broth, Dijon mustard and soy sauce until smooth. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 1 minute or until thickened. Stir into meat mixture until blended. Serve over noodles.

2 pounds sirloin tips, trimmed and cubed into bite-sized pieces
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
4 large cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 cup finely chopped flat-leaf parsley, a couple of handfuls
1 lemon, zested and juiced
1/2 cup white vermouth or dry white wine

Steps:

  • Bring meat to room temperature and pat dry. Heat the extra-virgin olive oil in large, heavy skillet or cast iron skillet over medium-high to high heat. When the oil smokes, add the meat and caramelize before turning. Once evenly browned all over, about 5 minutes, season liberally with salt and pepper, add the garlic and toss with the meat for 2 minutes. Stir in the parsley and a little lemon zest and cook for another minute. Add the white vermouth and deglaze the pan. Turn off the heat, add the lemon juice and toss to coat. Transfer to a serving platter and serve immediately.
