SLOW COOKER SIRLOIN TIP ROAST
This recipe for Slow Cooker Sirloin Tip Roast uses real ingredients like beef stock, apple juice, tomato juice and butter.

Steps:
- Slice the butter thinly and place it in the bottom of the slow cooker insert.
- Wash the potatoes and add them on top of the butter in the slow cooker.
- Peel and cut the carrots. Peel and cut the onion. Layer the carrots and onion on top of the potatoes.
- Place the sirloin tip roast on top of the potatoes, carrots and onions.
- In a microwave safe bowl or glass measuring cup, whisk together the beef stock, apple juice, tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce and corn starch. Stir in the rest of the ingredients, onion flakes through pepper.
- Microwave the beef stock mixture to dissolve the corn starch, about 90 seconds.
- Pour the beef stock mixture over the roast and vegetables.
- Place the lid on and cook on LOW heat for 8 - 10 hours, until the beef roast is fall-apart tender.

- Rub salt, pepper and paprika into the meat. With a small knife, make slits in the roast. Press the garlic slivers into the roast.
- Place the potatoes, carrots, and onions in a large slow cooker. Place meat on top of the vegetables. Pour in water and beef broth, and add bouillon cubes and bay leaf.
- Place lid on slow cooker, and cook for 6 hours on High, or 8 hours on Low. During the last half hour of cooking, add the green peppers.

- Rub roast with garlic and pepper; place in a 3-qt. slow cooker. Mix soy sauce, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and mustard; pour over roast. Cook, covered, on low until tender, 3-1/2 to 4 hours., Remove roast; keep warm. Strain cooking juices into a small saucepan; skim fat. Mix cornstarch and water until smooth; stir into cooking juices. Bring to a boil; cook and stir until thickened, 1-2 minutes. Cut roast into slices; serve with gravy.

- Mix the salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, oregano and 2 tbsp. of cooking oil in the small bowl. Stir the ingredients to make a paste.
- Unwrap the sirloin tip roast and wash it under cool, running water. Pat the roast dry with the paper towels. Advertisement.
- Rub the herb paste over all of the outside surfaces of the sirloin tip roast. Place the sirloin tip roast into the large plastic container and cover with the lid.
- Remove the sirloin tip roast from the refrigerator and allow it to sit at room temperature for approximately 30 minutes.
- Measure and pour the broth into the slow cooker. Turn the crock-pot on and set it to high. Advertisement.
- Pour the remaining 1 tbsp. of cooking oil into the frying pan, set the burner to medium-high and heat the oil.
- Place the sirloin tip roast into the hot oil and brown each side of the roast for two to three minutes. Advertisement.
- Remove the roast from the frying pan and place it into the slow cooker. Cover the slow cooker and allow the sirloin tip roast to cook on high for one hour.
- Reduce the slow cooker temperature to low and continue to cook the roast for two hours. Open the slow cooker and flip the roast over. Cover the slow cooker again and cook for two more hours.
- Open the slow cooker and check the roast to see if it is finished cooking. If it is finished cooking, remove it from the slow cooker and place it onto the serving platter.
