This one is a hit in my Family and easy to.

Ingredients

1 unbaked pie shell
1/2 c sugar you can add more or less if you wish
2 Tbsp flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon, ground
5-6 large apples grated (what ever apples you have)
1/2 stick margarine or butter
1 beaten egg

Steps:

1. Combine dry ingredients in large bowl fold in peeled and shredded apples.Mix melted butter and beaten egg stir into apple mixture. Pour in pie shell. Bake 40-45 minutes at 350. Serve warm with ice cream.

In a large bowl, beat together the sugar, butter, flour, vanilla, cinnamon, salt and eggs with an electric hand mixer on medium speed. Beat until combined.
Fold in the shredded apples. Pour mixture into the unbaked pie shell. Place pie on a large cookie sheet.
Bake 65 to 70 minutes. (You may need to cover the top of pie with a piece of tinfoil the last 10 minutes of baking to prevent from burning the top. That is what I always do.)
