Savory Cheese Potato Packets Food

SAVORY GRILLED POTATOES

Steps:

• Mix salad dressing, herb and seasonings in a large bowl.
• Add potatoes and onion and stir until evenly coated.
• Place mixture on a large double layer of heavy duty aluminum foil.
• Bring edges together to form a packet, roll edges to seal.
• Grill covered over medium hot coals 40- 45 mins or bake in oven@ 350° F degrees.

GRILLED NEW POTATO PACKET

Steps:

• Heat grill to medium heat.
• Place potatoes on center of large sheet of heavy-duty foil; drizzle with water and oil. Fold foil to make packet.
• Grill 18 to 20 min. or until potatoes are tender.
• Cut slits in foil to release steam before opening packet. Top potatoes with remaining ingredients.

POTATO PACKETS

Steps:

• Tear off 4 large squares of aluminum foil and spray with Pam.
• Scrub potatoes.
• Slice with skins on (like you would to fix fried potatoes).
• Divide potatoes among foil squares.
• Shake soup mix package before opening to mix it up well. Divide among 4 foil squares. You may or may not use whole package, depend on personal preference.
• Sprinkle 1 tablespoon cheese on each square of foil.
• Put 1 tablespoon of butter on top of each foil square.
• Fold sides to completely cover potatoes and form a square packet.
• Put on grill, my DH, puts them on the shelf of our grill and cooks for 45 minutes.

SAVORY CHEESE POTATO PACKETS

Steps:

• Cut a large piece of heavy-duty foil (18x18 inches).
• Spray foil with non-stick cooking spray.
• Add potatoes to a large mixing bowl.
• Add the ranch dressing; stir to coat.
• Transfer potatoes to the center of the foil piece.
• Sprinkle with the shredded cheese blend.
• Fold foil over potatoes to make a packet.
• Make sure edges are sealed and allow space on the sides for circulation of heat.
• Place packet on grill over medium heat.
• Cover and grill 20-25 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
• Place packet on a large platter.
• Carefully open packet and sprinkle with parmesan cheese and salt/pepper if desired.
