- Heat the olive oil in a large saute pan over medium-high heat. Add the sugar snap peas, salt and pepper and saute, tossing occasionally for 3 to 5 minutes, until the sugar snap peas are crisp tender.
- Place the sugar snap peas in a serving bowl, sprinkle with sea salt and serve.

- Make the marinade: combine all the marinade ingredients in a bowl; mix well.
- Add the shrimp; stir to coat evenly; let stand for 10 minutes.
- Put stir-fry pan over high heat until hot.
- Add in the oil; swirling to coat the sides.
- Add the onion and sugar snap peas; stir-fry until the peas are tender-crisp, about 2 minutes.
- Add in the shrimp; stir-fry until they turn pink, about 1 ½ minutes.
- Add in the broth and sesame oil; stir-fry until the broth boils and thickens slightly, about 20 seconds.
- Transfer to a serving plate and serve.

- In a bowl combine shrimp, lemon juice, ginger, vodka, pepper flakes and salt and pepper to taste. Blend well. Cover with plastic wrap, let stand for at least 15 minutes.
- Pluck off and discard the ends of each snow pea.
- Drop tomatoes into a pot of boiling water, let stand about 10 seconds. Remove and peel. Cut away cores, then cut tomatoes into 1/2-inch cubes.
- Melt butter and olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over high heat. Add snow peas. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 30 seconds. Add tomatoes, cook for one minute, continuing to stir. Add garlic, shrimp and marinade. Cook about 3 minutes; do not overcook. Check for seasoning. Add coriander, blend well and serve immediately.

- Cook couscous in well-salted boiling water, uncovered, until tender, about 10 minutes. Stir in sugar snaps 3 minutes before couscous is done. Drain and transfer to a bowl, then stir in 1/2 tablespoon butter and salt and pepper to taste.
- While couscous and sugar snaps cook, toss shrimp with 1/8 teaspoon each of salt and pepper. Heat remaining tablespoon butter in a 10-inch heavy skillet over medium-high heat until foam subsides. Sauté shrimp, turning once, until just cooked through, about 3 minutes total. Transfer shrimp with a slotted spoon to a plate.
- Add wine, tomato, and sugar to skillet and boil until tomato starts to fall apart, about 4 minutes. Return shrimp to skillet and stir in tarragon.
- Season with salt and pepper. Serve shrimp and pan sauce on top of pearl couscous.

- Combine soy sauce, 2 minced scallions, garlic, sesame seeds, cornstarch, ginger, mirin, sugar, red pepper flakes, and sesame oil in a bowl to make marinade.
- Place shrimp in a large resealable plastic bag; pour in marinade. Seal the bag and shake to coat shrimp. Place in refrigerator and marinate for 15 to 20 minutes.

Steps:
- Cook tortellini according to package instructions, mine took 5 minutes.
- Heat heavy skillet and once hot, add oil.
- Add 1/4 of the stick of butter to the oil, it should sizzle.
- Add the garlic and shrimp to the skillet and cook on medium heat 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Add the sugar snap peas and basil and cook for 4 minutes more.
- Add the remaining butter and stir to make sure nothing sticks.
- Add the cooked pasta and continue stirring until the shrimp is fully cooked and pink.
- If you like cooking with wine, add some white wine to the shrimp in step four & let it cook down a little before adding the sugar snap peas and basil. I haven't used the wine so let me know how it goes.
