Steps:
- If necessary in order to fit in microwave, cut claws at joints. Wrap 3 claws at a time in a damp paper towel, along with 1 sprig of dill, and then wrap in plastic wrap. Place wrapped claws in microwave 1 package at a time and cook on high for 2 minutes. Remove and unwrap carefully. Serve immediately.

Steps:
- In a large covered stockpot, bring the beer, sugar, seafood seasoning , vinegar, and spices to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Add the crabs and stir well.
- Cover and steam 5 to 7 minutes (10 to 15 for raw crabs), stirring well a few times.
- Remove crabs and serve hot, sprinkled with a little extra seafood seasoning, if desired.
