PEANUT BUTTER CUP RICE KRISPIE TREATS RECIPE
Rice Krispie Treats no longer have to be boring. Jazz up the best rice krispie treats with everyone's favorite Reese's candy. These Peanut Butter Cup Rice Krispie Treats are easy to make and off the chart amazing!

Steps:
- Butter or spray a 9x13 pan and set aside.
- Melt the butter over low heat in a saucepan. Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Stir in the peanut butter.
- Pour the cereal into the marshmallow mixture and stir until completely combined. Press half the cereal mixture into the prepared pan quickly.
- Place the 24 peanut butter cups over the top of the rice krispies in the pan.
- Spoon the rest of the Rice Krispies mixture over the top and press down. Let cool completely.
- Place the chocolate chips and heavy cream in a saucepan and heat over low to medium heat until melted. Stir until creamy.
- Spread over the top of the Rice Krispie treats. Let set. Cut into 24 squares. Store in a sealed container on the counter.

- 1. In a large sauce pan over medium heat, melt the sugar, corn syrup, and peanut butter until smooth and evenly combined. Then remove from heat.
- 2. Quickly add the salt and cereal and stir to combine thoroughly.
- 3. Add the chocolate chips and stir again.
- 4. Wait about 1 min and add the candy, quickly folding the mixture together so as to not smash up the candy.
- 5. Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper and drop rounded tablespoons onto the sheet. Let cool and enjoy.

Let cool (or you can eat them while they are warm and gooey- try and resist them!) and enjoy! I got about 30 Rice Krispy "balls" out of this recipe- it just depends what size you make them.

- Melt margarine or butter in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.
- Add Rice Krispies cereal and stir until well coated.
- Add in desired amount of peanut butter chips and stir.
- Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly into a 9x13 coated with cooking spray. Cut into squares when cooled.

- In a large bowl, combine cereal and diced Reeses. Set aside. Spray a 9 x 13 inch pan with cooking spray and set aside. In a large pot melt butter over low heat. Add karo syrup and marshmallows and stir continuously until mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and add cereal mixture into the pot and fold together just until cereal is evenly coated. (Peanut butter cup pieces will fall apart as you fold together your ingredients, so don't over mix this.) Press mixture into the sprayed 9 x 13 in. pan. Set aside. In a small microwave safe bowl, add peanut butter. Microwave for 30 second to a minute to melt. Set aside to let cool slightly. In a separate small microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate at 30 second intervals, stir between intervals, until smooth. Set aside to let cool slightly. When peanut butter is cool enough to handle, transfer into a small zip lock bag. Clip a small piece out of the corner and pipe onto rice krispie treats, zig-zagging back and forth. Repeat steps with chocolate, placing in a small zip lock bag, and piping over the peanut butter. Either let treats sit at room temperature to allow chocolate to set up, or you can pop the pan into the fridge for about 5 minutes to speed up the process. Cut and serve.

- 1. Butter a 9×13-inch pan and set aside.
- 2. Measure the cereal into a large mixing bowl and set aside.
- 3. Melt the marshmallows and butter together in a medium saucepan over medium heat (or in the microwave for about 3 minutes, but keep watch so the marshmallows don't puff over the sides of the bowl!).
- 4. Pour the melted marshmallow mixture over the cereal.
- 5. Mix well so the cereal is coated.
- 6. Pour into the prepared pan and use a buttered piece of wax paper to press evenly into pan.
- 7. Cut the peanut butter cups into quarters.
- 8. In the microwave, melt the peanut butter until thin, about 1 minute.
- 9. Gently stir in the quartered peanut butter cups and then pour over the treats.
- 10. Using the back of a spoon, gently spread the peanut butter mixture evenly across the top.
- 11. Again in the microwave, melt the chocolate chips.
- 12. Using a spoon, drizzle the melted chocolate across the top.
- 13. Place the pan in the refrigerator to set before cutting and serving.
