• Grease two 9-inch square metal cake pans with nonstick cooking spray. Prepare and bake the red velvet cake in the greased cake pans according to the package instructions. • Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Place foil baking cup in each of 12 regular-size muffin cups.
• Make brownie batter as directed on box for cakelike brownies. Spoon batter evenly into muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.
