Sweeten crispy corn and rice cereal with a chocolate and peanut butter mixture, then coat it all with powdered sugar! It's a great Saturday night snack the whole family will love!

Ingredients

1 (6 ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips
½ cup peanut butter
⅓ cup butter
1 (12 ounce) package crispy corn and rice cereal
2 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted

Steps:

In a medium saucepan over medium low heat, melt together semisweet chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter.
Place crispy corn and rice cereal in a large bowl. Pour the chocolate chip mixture over the cereal. Sift confectioners' sugar into the mixture. Cover bowl and shake vigorously until all cereal is fully coated. Allow the mixture to cool slightly before serving.

1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup white corn syrup
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
17 ounces Corn Chex, poured in a brown paper bag

Steps:

Bring to a boil: salt, corn syrup, brown sugar and butter. Boil 1-1/2 minutes. Add 1/2 teaspoons soda.
Pour over the chex cereal in brown paper bag. Microwave 3-1/2 to 4 minutes. Shake bag after each minute. Spread on cookie sheet to cool. Store in covered container.

3 cups corn pops puffed corn cereal
1/4 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon onion salt
1/8 teaspoon oregano
1/8 teaspoon dill weed

Steps:

Pour melted butter in a large mixing bowl.
Add the Worcestershire sauce, onion salt, oregano, dill and Corn Pops; mix well to coat the cereal.
Pour into a 12 x 9 pan and bake for 15 minutes at 350°, stirring every 5 minutes.
You may also add pecans or peanuts to this mix!

4 cups popped light butter-flavor microwave popcorn
1 cup Corn Chex
2 cups Rice Chex
1 cup wheat Chex cereal
1 cup pretzel stick, coarsely broken
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/3 cup margarine, melted
1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Steps:

butter bottom and sides 13x9-in. pan.
in large bowl mix popcorn, cereal, and pretzels; set aside.
in a microwavable bowl microwave brown sugar, corn syrup and margarine for 2 minute or until boiling, stirring after 1 minute
pour over cereal mixture in bowl, stirring until evenly coated
press firmly into pan
in a small microwave bowl, microwave choc. chips 1 minute or until melted.
drizzle over bars-(i add more choc. chips).
cool completely- about 30 min.-cut into bars (8 rows by 4).

4 1/2 cups Rice Chex
4 1/2 cups Corn Chex
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter (or margarine)
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup candy-coated chocolate candy (plain or peanut MandM's)

Steps:

In a large microwavable bowl, place cereals.
In 2-cup microwavable measuring cup, microwave brown sugar, butter and corn syrup uncovered on High about 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute, until smooth and dissolved. Stir in baking soda until dissolved. Pour over cereal, stirring until evenly coated.
Microwave uncovered on High 5 to 6 minutes, stirring and scraping bowl after every minute, just until cereal begins to brown.
Cool 5 minutes; stir in candies.
Spread on waxed paper to cool; break into bite-size pieces. Store in air-tight container.

1/4 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

In large microwavable bowl, mix cereal, popcorn and peanuts. Set aside.
In medium microwavable bowl, mix butter, brown sugar, corn syrup and vanilla. Microwave uncovered on High about 2 minutes or until mixture is boiling; stirring after 1 minute. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
Microwave uncovered on High 4 to 5 minutes, stirring and scraping bowl after every minute.
Spread on waxed paper until cooled, stirring occasionally to break up. Store in airtight container.
