RANCH PRETZEL BITES

Ranch Pretzel Bites image

Ranch pretzel bites are addictive little nibbles of salty pretzels coated in a tangy ranch mix and baked to perfection. It's a great recipe to make a lot of for gifting or having on hand for holiday gatherings!

Time 1h5m

Number Of Ingredients 6

16 ounces of large pretzels, broken into 1'' pieces (or use the pretzel "nibbler" bites; I like the Snyder's of Hanover brand for either option)
1 envelope ranch seasoning mix (I used Hidden Valley)
¾ cup oil (I like light olive, grapeseed, or canola for this)
2 teaspoons dried dill
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1-2 teaspoons Louisiana hot sauce or Frank's Red Hot, optional

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 200℉. Line a large baking sheet or jelly roll pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
  • Place the pretzels in a large mixing bowl. In a small bowl, combine the ranch seasoning, oil, dill, garlic and hot sauce by whisking together.
  • Pour the seasoning mixture over the pretzels and toss to combine.
  • Spread the coated pretzels in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 1 hour, stirring three times at the 15-, 30, and 45-minute mark.
  • Cool the pretzels completely on the baking sheet before transferring to an airtight container for storage.
  • Pretzels will keep at room temperature for up to 3 weeks.

RANCH PRETZELS

These are great at picnics, parties or just to have around for a snack. Definitely not your typical boring old pretzels. They disapear quick, but if you have any left, store in airtight containers. Time does not include 1 hour sitting time.
