These potatoes are so darn good, you will want to make them often! I added bacon, but you could also add chopped onion while cooking the potatoes...both are great options! Enjoy!

Number Of Ingredients 7

7 medium potatoes, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
1/4 c butter, cubed
8 oz sour cream
1 envelope ranch salad dressing mix
4 oz shredded cheddar
1 bag(s) bacon bits
1 small onion, chopped (add to potatoes when baking if you want, it is optional)

Steps:

  • 1. Place potatoes in a greased 11x7, dot with butter. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 60-65 min or until tender. Combine sour cream and salad dressing mix; spoon over the potatoes. Sprinkle with bacon bits (the soft ones, not bacos). Sprinkle with cheese. Bake, uncovered for 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted.

8 to 10 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1-1/4 cups milk
1 envelope ranch salad dressing mix
1-1/4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
Salt and pepper to taste
6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled

Steps:

  • Place potatoes in a large saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil; cook for until almost tender, 10-12 minutes. Drain; place in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. , Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine the soup, milk, salad dressing mix, 1 cup cheese, salt and pepper; pour over potatoes. Top with bacon and remaining cheese. , Bake, uncovered, until bubbling and potatoes are tender, 25-30 minutes.

8 -10 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch cubes
1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 1/4 cups milk
1 envelope ranch dressing mix
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
salt and pepper
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Steps:

  • Add the potatoes to a saucepan.
  • Add water to cover.
  • Bring to a boil; cook about 10-12 minutes or until potatoes are almost tender; drain.
  • Place drained potatoes into a greased 13x9 inch baking dish.
  • In a bowl, mix together the soup, milk, salad dressing mix, 1 cup cheese, salt and pepper to taste; pour over potatoes.
  • Sprinkle crumbled bacon and the remaining cheese over the top.
  • Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

½ cup olive oil
1 (1 ounce) package dry ranch dressing mix
4 large potatoes, peeled and coarsely chopped
2 zucchini, coarsely chopped
3 stalks celery, coarsely chopped, or more to taste
1 onion, coarsely chopped
½ cup seasoned bread crumbs
1 pinch garlic salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Mix olive oil and ranch dressing mix together in an 8-inch square baking pan. Add 1/2 of the potatoes, 1/2 of the zucchini, 1/2 of the onion, and 1/2 of the onion; stir to coat. These look very good. Recipe is from Simple and Delicious. Update 3/21/09: I've made these recently and I think I will use only half of the ranch dressing mix the next time because I felt it was a little too strong. I will leave the original recipe as is, though.
