2 whole eggs
4 egg whites
1-1/2 cups fat-free milk
1/4 tsp. pepper
6 cups multi-grain bread cubes (3/4 inch)
8 slices cooked OSCAR MAYER Bacon, chopped
1 cup KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Cheddar Cheese, divided

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350ºF.
  • Whisk first 4 ingredients in large bowl until blended. Add bread, bacon and 1/2 cup cheese; stir to evenly moisten bread.
  • Pour into 9-inch square baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; top with remaining cheese.
  • Bake 35 min. or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 5 min. before serving.

6 slice white bread, or any kind you prefer
1 lb sausage, cooked
1 c shredded cheddar cheese
16 oz liquid egg whites
2 c milk
1 medium red pepper, sliced
chopped basil
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • 1. Place the bread into the bottom of a lightly greased 13x9" baking pan; sprinkle with sausage, red pepper and cheese.
  • 2. Beat egg whites, milk, basil, salt and pepper in medium bowl. Pour over bread mixture.
  • 3. Bake in a preheated 350º oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until mixture is set in center and lightly browned on top. Refrigerate any leftovers.
  • 4. May substitute cooked bacon, or smoked sausage, browned and sliced. May also use 8 eggs instead of the liquid egg whites.

1 ½ pounds ground breakfast sausage
16 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
7 slices white bread, torn into pieces

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Brown sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off grease, and set aside to cool. Pour the eggs into a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a separate large bowl, combine the sausage, bread and 12 ounces of the cheese. Mix well and pour this into the egg mixture. Top with the remaining 4 ounces of cheese and cover with foil.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 15 minutes, uncover, and bake until casserole is golden brown and bubbly.

It's always a hit at our house because it combines eggs, bacon, cheese, vegetables and bread all in one pan. I enjoy cooking for my husband of 31 years, two sons, one daughter and two grandsons." I will probably leave the mushrooms out due to other family members not liking them.

10 bacon, strips diced
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 cup sliced green onion
1/4 cup butter, cubed
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
8 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 English muffins, split, toasted and lightly buttered
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Remove bacon and set aside; discard all but 2 tablespoons of drippings. Saute mushrooms and onions in drippings until tender; set aside.
  • In a large saucepan, melt butter. Stir in the flour, salt and pepper until smooth; cook until bubbly. Gradually stir in milk and cheese; cook and stir until thickened. Stir in the bacon, mushrooms and onions; remove from the heat and set aside.
  • For scrambled eggs, beat the eggs, milk, pepper and salt; pour into a greased skillet. Cook and stir gently until eggs are set. Remove from the heat and set aside.
  • Cut English muffin halves in half again. Place in a greased 11-in. x 7-in. baking dish. Cover with half of cheese sauce. Spoon eggs over all; top with remaining sauce. Sprinkle with parsley.
  • Bake, uncovered, at 325° for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly.
