This homemade pumpkin cream cold brew is super silky-smooth, dairy-free recipe that's better than Starbucks!

1 cup oat milk
1 1/2 tbsp. pumpkin puree
1 tbsp. maple syrup
1 tsp. pumpkin spice or cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
1 cup cold brew coffee
handful of ice
sprinkle of pumpkin spice

Steps:

  • In a small saucepan combine the oat milk, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, vanilla, pumpkin spice, and salt over low to medium heat. Whisk to combine until it's slightly steaming but not boiling. Alternatively, you can combine all of the ingredients in a glass and use a hand-held frother to mix together.
  • Remove from heat and pour into a glass. Refrigerate for 5-10 minutes.
  • Remove from the fridge and add to a milk frother. Froth until nice and frothy.
  • Add to a glass with ice and pour the cold brew on top or add the cold brew first and pour the milk mixture on top. Sprinkle extra pumpkin spice on top and enjoy! Cold pumpkin foam can be stored in the fridge for up to a day but may need to be re-frothed.

Every fall I eagerly await this iced coffee from that famous coffee shop. What I don't like is that it can be pricey. So I decided to make my own pumpkin cream to be able to enjoy it year round.

½ cup heavy whipping cream
¼ cup pumpkin puree
3 tablespoons pumpkin pie syrup (such as Torani(R)), or to taste
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
ice
2 tablespoons sugar-free vanilla syrup (such as Torani®)
1 cup cold brew coffee, or as needed

Steps:

  • Combine heavy whipping cream, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie syrup, and pumpkin spice in a bowl. Whip with a hand mixer until creamy and slightly thickened.
  • Fill 2 glasses with ice. Add 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup to each glass, fill 2/3 of the way with cold brew coffee, and divide pumpkin cream evenly between both.

3 tablespoons pumpkin puree
3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Pinch sea salt
Cold brew coffee
Ice
Pumpkin cream
Pinch pumpkin spice mix for garnish

Steps:

  • Fill your glass 3/4 of the way full of ice.
  • Pour coffee in about 2/3 full.
  • Give your pumpkin cream a good shake (it may have separated a bit while chilling). Spoon pumpkin cream over the top until glass is filled.
  • Sprinkle a bit of pumpkin spice mix over the top and serve.
