CHERRY CRISP

Cherry Crisp image

The very first time that I made Cherry Crisp, my brother happened to be visiting. He is an ice cream lover-but he passed up the scoops of vanilla that he tops most desserts with so he could taste the cherries better! Wheat, soybeans and milo are the main crops on our farm. We also have three small cherry trees. I apportion all of that harvest for this recipe. My husband's is the manager of a coop. I work part-time as a church secretary...teach piano in our home...and enjoy making clothes for myself and our 3-year-old daughter. Cross-stitch is one of my favorite hobbies.

PRESIDENTIAL CHERRY CRISP

Presidential Cherry Crisp image

I make this classic Betty Crocker recipe every President's Day for my family. I know. George Washington didn't chop down a cherry tree, but I cannot tell a lie. This recipe is just the thing to warm you on a cold winter night. It is especially nice with a scoop of vanilla ice cream melting into it.

CHERRY CRISP USING FRESH/FROZEN CHERRIES

Cherry Crisp Using Fresh/Frozen Cherries image

I love this crisp recipe - you can easily use other types of fruit and has adequate amounts of fruit and topping. The topping is usually about a half-inch thick, so add more fruit to a 9x13 pan if you like a larger amount of fruit in compairason to topping

AMAZING CHERRY CRISP

Amazing Cherry Crisp image

Nothing better than fresh cherry crisp! I make this with fresh cherries. Sure, you can use canned, but it's worth it to go with the real thing. Doesn't matter what kind; just adjust the sugar a bit if you're using pie cherries. I made mine with bings.
