POVERTY SOUP

Poverty Soup image

The ingredients are flexible - depends what you have on hand. Surprisingly tasty and easy. I live in a dorm, with a cafeteria we have to pay for, but I can't stomach the food (literally, oil intolerance) so I grab bits of what I can

POVERTY MEAL

Poverty Meal image

When I was a child, my family used to eat this at least once a week due to the fact that it is inexpensive and a little goes a long way. We also added fresh herbs or sometimes whole kernel corn. Its even better the next day and it freezes well.
