6 (4 ounce) pork chops
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 onion, sliced
1 (4 ounce) package sliced mushrooms
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
½ cup Marsala wine

Steps:

  • Stir together the flour, rosemary, mustard, salt, garlic powder, and pepper in a bowl. Dredge the pork chops in the seasoned flour, shake off excess, and set aside. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 4 minutes per side.
  • Place the onion, mushrooms, and garlic into a slow cooker. Add the seared pork chops, then pour in the cream of mushroom soup and Marsala wine. Cover, and cook on Low until the chops are tender, 6 to 8 hours.

6 tablespoons all-purpose flour, divided
4 (4 ounce) boneless center cut pork chops (about 1/2 in. thick)
1/3 cup minced shallot (about 2)
2 teaspoons bottled minced garlic
1 (8 ounce) package sliced mushrooms
2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme
1 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup marsala wine or 1/4 cup dry sherry
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Steps:

  • Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Place a 1/4 cup flour in a shallow dish. Dredge pork in flour. Coat pan with cooking spray. Add pork to pan; cook 4 minutes on each side or until browned. Remove pork from pan.
  • Add shallots, garlic, and mushroooms to pan; saute 3 minutes or until moisture evaporates. Add remaining 2 tblsp. flour and thyme to pan and cook for 1 minute, stirring well. Combine chicken broth and Marsala, stirring until smooth. Gradually add broth mixture to pan, stirring constantly with a whisk; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 2 minutes or until sauce thickens.
  • Return pork to pan; cook 2 minutes or until desired degree of doneness, turning to coat. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes. Garnish with thyme sprigs, if desired.

1 Tbs EVOO
1 Tbs freshly chopped Thyme
1/2 tsp ground Black Pepper
3 Tbs Butter
4 cloves minced Garlic
1 finely chopped Shallot
8 oz sliced Baby Bella Mushrooms
1/2 cup Marsala Wine
1/2 cup Heavy Cream

Steps:

  • Rub Thyme and Pepper on both sides of Smithfield® All Natural Boneless Pork Chops
  • Add EVOO to a large skillet and heat over med/high heat
  • When oil is shimmering add Pork Chops to skillet and cook 2-3 minutes each side
  • Place Pork Chops in Slow Cooker
  • Add Butter to skillet along with the Garlic and Shallots
  • Sauté 1-2 minutes
  • Add in Mushrooms and sauté 2-3 minutes
  • Add Marsala Wine and cook until reduced, about 2-3 minutes
  • Pour the mixture from the skillet over the Pork Chops
  • Cover and cook on low for 3 hours
  • Stir in Heavy Cream and cook additional 10-15 minutes

6 pork chops (cut 1/2 - 3/4-inch thick)
1 onion (sliced or chopped)
1 tablespoon fresh minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional or to taste)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ginger
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1 -2 tablespoon fresh minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)

Steps:

  • Place the pork chops in the crock pot.
  • Sprinkle with onions and garlic over and around the chops.
  • In a bowl mix together all remaining ingredients except the salt; pour over the chops.
  • Cook on low setting for about 7 hours or until the pork chops are cooked through and tender (cooking time will vary slightly depending on the size of your pork chops).
  • Season with salt to taste if desired.

4 pork loin chops, boneless 1/2
1/2 tsp salt and pepper
3 tsp olive oil , divided
10 oz white mushrooms ; sliced
1/4 c chopped shallots
1/2 tsp dried thyme or 1-1/2 fresh thyme
1/2 c chicken broth
1/3 c marsala wine
1 tsp cornstarch

Steps:

  • 1. Evenly season chops with salt and pepper and set aside.
  • 2. In a non-stick skillet heat up 2 teas. oil on medium heat for 1 minute.
  • 3. Add the chops and brown both sides until browned but still pink inside ; Transfer chops to a platter and keep warm.
  • 4. In the same skillet heat the remaining teas.of oil for 1 minute.
  • 5. Add the sliced mushrooms , shallots and thyme ; cook for 5 minutes or until mushrooms are browned and shallots are tender.
  • 6. Add the broth and wine to the mushroom mixture ; cook for 2 minutes longer.
  • 7. Mix cornstarch with 1 teas. cold water and stir in slowly to the mushrooms sauce ; stir until sauce thickens.
  • 8. Pour sauce over top of warm chops and serve.

4 thin-cut boneless pork chops ((1/4- to 1/2-inch thick))
kosher salt and freshly-ground black pepper
1/4 cup all-purpose flour, (plus 2 tablespoons)
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
8-10 ounces cremini mushrooms, (cleaned, stems removed, and caps cut into 1/4-inch slices)
1 large shallot, (chopped (about 1/3 cup))
3/4 cup dry Marsala wine
1/2 cup chicken stock
1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves, (chopped)
1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, (chopped)
1/3 cup heavy cream

Steps:

  • Season pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour, shaking off excess.
  • Heat butter and oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until foaming subsides. Cook pork for 3-4 minutes per side, until browned and centers read 145 degrees F with a meat thermometer. (Very thin chops might need as little as 2 minutes per side.) Transfer to a plate and tent with foil to keep warm.
  • Add shallots and mushrooms to pan with 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt and 1/4 teaspoon freshly-ground black pepper. Sauté until mushrooms are soft and beginning to brown, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir 2 tablespoons flour into the mushroom mixture and cook for 1 minute. Add Marsala and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, scraping any brown bits from the bottom of the pan. Add chicken stock and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 5-8 minutes, until sauce is slightly thickened.

  • Transfer pork chops to a platter and spoon sauce over the top. Garnish with chopped fresh herbs and if desired, a squeeze of lemon juice.
