Pizza Bagel Casserole is an easy dinner recipe the whole family will love.This everything bagel casserole is loaded with pepperoni, pizza sauce, green peppers, bacon and cheese.

6 everything bagels
1 cup pizza sauce
8 oz pepperoni slices
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 cup green peppers, diced
1/3 cup real bacon bits

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425F.
  • Chop everything bagels into bite sized pieces.
  • Dump bagel pieces into a large mixing bowl.
  • Add the pizza sauce and pepperoni slices to the bowl.
  • Stir all of the ingredients together until the bagel pieces are all coated in sauce.
  • Dump the bagel and pepperoni mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  • Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Sprinkle the diced green peppers and real bacon bits on top.
  • Bake until the cheese is completely melted and just starting to brown. 14-16 minutes.
  • Remove from oven, slice and serve.
  • Enjoy!

This dish has everything you love about a traditional bagel breakfast sandwich, but it's all baked into a creamy, cheesy casserole that can be made the night before.

Unsalted butter or nonstick cooking spray, for greasing the baking dish
1 tablespoon olive oil
8 ounces breakfast sausage, casing removed (8 sausages) (see Cook's Note)
2 cups whole milk
3/4 cup half-and-half
Pinch of cayenne
8 large eggs
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 1/3 cups packed baby spinach
2 large plain bagels, split and cut into 1-inch pieces
1 1/3 cups shredded provolone
8 ounces cream cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning

Steps:

  • Position a rack in the center of the oven and preheat to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the sausage and cook, breaking up any clumps with a wooden spoon, until brown, about 5 minutes; transfer to a bowl with a slotted spoon.
  • Whisk together the milk, half-and-half, cayenne, eggs, 3/4 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper in a large bowl. Fold in the sausage, spinach, bagels and 3/4 cup of the provolone, then pour into the prepared baking dish. Dot the top with the cream cheese and sprinkle all over with the everything bagel seasoning and remaining provolone (see Cook's Note).
  • Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake until the casserole is puffed, golden brown at the edges and set in the center, about 45 minutes more. Let cool 15 minutes before serving.

They will have a great time. We usually just make them as instructed below and they are delicious. My husband also makes this on leftover hamburger or kaiser buns instead of the bagel.

When your favorite over-the-top breakfast meets pizza, it makes for a dining experience you'll crave at any time of day.

8 slices thick-cut bacon
All-purpose flour, for dusting
1 pound store-bought pizza dough, at room temperature
8 ounces shredded sharp Cheddar
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 tablespoon everything bagel seasoning
5 large eggs
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
Hot sauce, for serving

Steps:

  • Place a pizza stone or inverted rimmed baking sheet on the lowest rack of the oven and preheat to 400 degrees F.
  • Set a cooling rack inside another rimmed baking sheet, spread out the bacon and bake on the stone or baking sheet until cooked and crispy, 20 to 22 minutes. Crumble and set aside on a paper towel-lined plate.
  • Increase the oven temperature to 500 degrees F.
  • Dust a piece of parchment lightly with flour. Stretch or roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch round on the parchment, then transfer the dough on the parchment to a pizza peel or another inverted rimmed baking sheet. Sprinkle with the Cheddar and bacon. Brush the crust with the butter and sprinkle with the bagel seasoning.
  • Slide the pizza on the parchment paper onto the stone or baking sheet and bake until the cheese is melted and the crust is almost golden, about 6 minutes. Remove from the oven.
  • Using the back of a spoon, make 5 small wells in the cheese and bacon and break an egg into each of the wells. Bake until the eggs are just set, about 5 minutes.
  • Garnish the pizza with the chives and serve with hot sauce.

1 whole bagel, split (I use egg, everything, or onion flavor)
2 tablespoons cream cheese (I use light or FF)

  • Preheat broiler.
  • Toast bagel as desired.
  • Spread bottom half of bagel with cream cheese. Top with pepperoni and cheese. Spread pizza sauce on top half of bagel.
