My mother has been making this form of ambrosia salad for years. To make blue fluff, substitute Blue Raspberry or Berry Blue Jell-O for the raspberry gelatin.

1 (16 ounce) package cottage cheese
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (15 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 (12 ounce) can cherry pie filling
1 (3 ounce) package raspberry flavored Jell-O® mix

Steps:

In a large bowl, stir together the cottage cheese, whipped topping, pineapple and cherry pie filling. Pour gelatin over the mixture and blend well. Divide into serving bowls and chill several hours, or overnight.

Steps:

Stir all ingredients together and refrigerate.

1 jar (10 ounces) maraschino cherries
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
2 cups heavy whipping cream, whipped
1 can (20 ounces) pineapple tidbits, drained
1 can (15-1/4 ounces) fruit cocktail, drained
1 can (15 ounces) sliced peaches, drained and diced
6 medium firm bananas, sliced
3 cups pastel miniature marshmallows

Steps:

Drain cherries, reserving 1/3 cup juice (save remaining juice for another use). Cut cherries in half; set aside. , In a bowl, beat cream cheese and reserved cherry juice until smooth. Fold in whipped cream. Fold in cherries, pineapple, fruit cocktail, peaches, bananas and marshmallows. Transfer to a serving bowl. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

4.6 ounces cook and serve vanilla pudding mix ((large box))
6 ounces strawberry jello package ((large box))
3 cups water
16 ounces cool-whip ((thawed))
5 ounces mini marshmallows ((half of the 10 ounce bag))
3 bananas (sliced)
2 cups strawberries (sliced)

Steps:

In a medium saucepan, whisk together pudding mix, Jello mix, and water. Cook over medium heat and bring to a boil.
Remove saucepan from heat and pour into a large mixing bowl. Cover with plastic wrap.
Refrigerate until mixture has thickened (overnight or for about 4-6 hours).
Once mixture has thickened, beat until creamy with an electric hand mixer.
Fold in Cool Whip, marshmallows, and fruit. Chill for about an hour before serving.
